Thanks guys! Also brand new to the forum and the whole pinball world. Played a few games in the arcade as a kid but that's about the extent of it. And yeah, this is really just part of a Back To The Future collection piece...but I guess time will tell!

I see what you did there.

He can still get more....He said "Just got my first (and probably only) Back To The Future pinball machine!" So he can buy anything but another Back to the Future pinball machine....It's genius.

Quoted from Tbpilot78:

Nice,i love the theme on MH,looks mint

Thank you! The cabinet is in average shape but the CPR gold playfield, CPR plastics, new main board, new rectifier board, new posts / rubbers, and the original backglass being near perfect sold me on the game. I put some Blitzwax on it last night and it plays really quick.

Now appearing at Epidemic Ales in Concord, CA! Indy & Angus make for a good duo IMHO.

I always thought that The Sopranos would do well at a brewery/bar location. Any thoughts?

More
I give you 6 months tops, before adding another

Go ahead and add a few...they don't draw 1.21Gwatts. Well that one might and if you get 88M you might be able to travel back to when pins were cheaper and get a bunch

I lasted eight months, but that was tough (IJ in 01/2001 then SS in 09/2001). Then it just continued...

Six months seems about right.

Good luck and enjoy BTTF.

Brought home a Close Encounters yesterday. All new Rottendog boards, but there are a few issues. Found the knocker coil stuck, sound board seems to be bad, and maybe a bridge rectifier. Keeps blowing the 5A fuse for the solenoids so hopefully it was just the knocker coil doing that.

There’s a bar in Palo Alto that has a sopranos. I ve been half dozen times. Bar always crowded and I was the only one ever playing it every time I went.
Not sure what that means or if any machine would be played more..
Just info

#13313 4 years ago

I used to play sopranos in a location with only one pin, and I think I'm the only one who played it

I tried to get into it....I just couldn't

Today was a great day! It was my first day back to work after a few months off for summer holidays...I teach at a local college so summers off are sweet and it’s a little hard to go back to be honest. What made my day so great was I finally found an Addams Family after about 7 years of actively trying to purchase one locally!! My friend offered me his and I had to jump on it...it’s my 40th birthday on Saturday so I told my wife this is my “midlife crisis” purchase!! Came with a CPR Gold playfield that I’ll tackle next summer.
Also snagged a Stern Trident while I was there because I needed to fill the classic Stern void I created when selling my Seawitch to Malibu-SS fund the TAF purchase. Fun pin for sure...I’m a fan of those old Sterns.

Yes will post pics soon. It's cab and head is great , the playfield inserts took a beating and need new ones. the playfield and Mpu(adjustment failure) are the weak points. An MPU with chips is almost 490 $$ jeez/

I'll make you feel better then - that $490 is $649.36 CDN for me, so consider it cheap, ha!

Can't beat the charm of an old mechanical backbox in a gottleib!

I find the running man unit in my 4 Bagger and the mechanical backbox clock that interacts with gameplay and scoring in my Beat The Clock pretty charming.

And even the mechanical baseball players in 1948's Williams Yanks backbox, the first flipper pinball game I know of to have any mechanical backbox animation, pretty charming to.

The louder the better because it can really annoy my kids . All kidding aside I really do enjoy the mechanical back box animations. They add a lot to the game. But the two I have left are super loud. My Williams Line Drive was ridiculous. It sounded like an air raid. Especially in the room I had it in.

The Adjustment failure hopefully will just be batteries. Nice Score.

I always knew you could buy for home, my delay was a electrician friend told me my fuse box was maxed out and everything would have to be re-done with a larger fuse box. Finally one day it hit me.. if I am playing pinball it means the jacuzzi, shop, or nothing else will be running, so I do have plenty of power.

Yeah, 2nd thing... I started looking around at what I could move or discard for more.

My personal 3rd thing is the phone would ring, gf "what are you doing"? me, "I am driving". gf "are you on your way to get another pinball machine"? me, "yeah, I will tell you about it when I get back".

Finishing up a 1000+ mile round-trip. I drove to Indiana to pick up a Benchmark Ten Strike I purchased earlier this year. I’ve always wanted a big ball bowler. One slipped through my fingers about a year ago. I came to my senses and realized they’re way too big for my game room and started looking for something smaller. On the way back I stopped by Flip N Out and picked up my BKSOR-LE and Beatles Gold from Zach.

The pic of the Ten Strike is in the seller’s home.

These 5‘ x 8‘ U-Haul cargo trailers are fantastic. It can easily swallow up six NIB pins!

Brought this old Lucky Ace home last night. It's been sitting uncovered in a building for 30 years. It was free with the promise of first right of refusal on some of my other coin-op stuff if/when I decide to sell. The best part beside the price was the sticker on the coin door. I have never bought a game in my hometown but this one at least was originally routed from there. Really looking forward to cleaning it all up.

It's very dirty but I think it's going to clean up nicely. The backglass looks pretty good too upon first inspection. The worst part is that big chunk out of the corner of the front of the cabinet.

That doesn’t sound too bad. I just did an arcade cabinet that needed a lot of repair. It was fairly easy.
