That was a magical journey all right. I see what you did there. Halfway through your post, I’m wondering “Where the heck is the game and Colson’s trademark cheshire grin?”

You tease us until the last pictures to get the pay off.

Good score.

Quoted from Colsond3:

Just finished taking a magical journey through Brooklyn and Queens to Long Island. Retro Gaming Expo at the Aviation Museum. Cool venue.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

I was just going to say, out of all those pics the Hokus Pokus was the highlight for me.

Told the story with pictures in order. Moneyshot was there. PF is beautiful on this thing. No orbit trail or sign of wear at all...not even at the inserts or pops.

Is the premium version the one with a backglass? If so, I have a pro.

Quoted from gdonovan:

Score! Playfield is very nice for that title, I have the EM version. Fun-fun game with great chimes!

The inserts on this one really have a tendency to sink, causing a lot of wear. I picked one up at the Milwaukee show last year, and then another one popped up locally last summer. Milwaukee game will stay, the other doesn't boot, haven't dug into it yet. Winter project (well, winter project #3....)

Great score though! You can rescue this game.

Quoted from northerndude:

Tell me about them drink holders?

They are home built out of oak and 3/4 black pipe. I don’t remember the cost but I think I have around 20-25 bucks in each of them. I built 25 at once, used a router, hole saw, miter saw, glue, and screws. The black pipe is available in precut lengths but it’s cheaper if you buy the whole stick and have them cut and thread it at the store.

Quoted from o-din:

There have been a couple beaters around here, but I would rather wait until I could find one in comparable condition to yours.
In my experience, Williams is the king of multiplayer short flipper EMs because of their competitive nature and close scoring between players, and this one is highly touted as one of the best ones due to it's ball to ball memory, similar to Pit Stop which has always been one of my top games.
i'm in no hurry though, one will pop up eventually. Again, congrats!

o-din There's one coming up for sale at an estate sale near me. I'll pm you the link. If you can work out a deal with the seller, I can pick it up and store it for a few days until NAVL picks it up.

Quoted from epeabs:

He is an animal, but he doesn't need a bigger gameroom. Look at his collection and history.....once he's tired of a game he sells it and if he ever decides he needs it back he just goes and buys another one.

LMAO. There’s probably 40 or 50 games in my history that I would’ve never sold if I had a bigger game room. Or maybe a warehouse.

A friend tipped me to a Data East Simpsons (a game I truly must have some day just for theme alone... if you only saw all the Simpsons stuff I have) that is literally 4 houses away from me. It's soooo beat up and literally has rubber bands on the playfield.

The guy wanted $5500.
