Phone calls only. He’s old school and a great asset to the community. He takes better care of wrapping than I do to move games. His cell is +1 (518) 366-4569
Just picked this guy up FOR FREE thanks to truemagoo102 !!
Had to leave my Great Aunt’s 89th birthday party early but how can I say no to free space invaders!
They were about to throw this guy in the dumpster too!
(If you know where I can get a replacement coindoor please let me know!)

That is just crazy! How many pins and arcades are still being tossed out when it is so easy to jump online and see they are worth a few bucks.

I came back after and my great aunt thought it was pretty awesome too! It seems everyone at the party except my own grandmother thinks it’s really cool, she just keeps asking when I’ll “throw out all this junk”
Before I left I took a peek in the dumpster and got a gorgeous, brand new metal hand toolbox still had the tag on it.
I don’t understand people!

I picked up swords for the hype, considering I had never had the opportunity to put extended play on one, but it has quickly become one of my favorite machines ever! LIONMAN!

LIONMAN!!!
Nice score.
Also just an update, this is gotta be one of the top 10 worst feelings when doing a blind pickup. I opened up space invaders and saw this:

All of the boards are gone. Sad...
The blacklight, marquee and monitor all seem to work, so I guess I’m gonna have to put out an ad for a Space Invaders boardset... I’m not an arcade guy so I don’t know anything about them either. Wish me luck
Finally picked this up from being stored at my uncles place, and brought home to the collection.
Big thank-you to Pingball for selling breakshot to me, and for being so awesome to work with.

Shouldn't be too bad.
If it were me, I'd slap a Raspberry Pie in there and load any games that use that button configuration if the board proves hard to access.

You now have an ‘opportunity’ to spend a lot of somethings on something that cost you nothing.

Actually, not too difficult at all. You can get an ICade Mame board in there, along with a new power source, and have a 60 game arcade. It would probably cost less than trying to find some original boards, too.

Would need a new monitor too though, Space Invaders IIRC used a B&W monitor. But finding original Space Invaders board set shouldn't be hard, there are a LOT of them out there.

Lots of arcade facebook groups to find this kind of stuff in, try 2 N Jenn's Arcades
I’m in LA, technically Castaic in the valley through the end of the week. Anybody need help grabbing a game?
I need to get my pinball fix while I’m out here if anybody wants some company. Or if anybody has any suggestions where to play.
If not, I fear I may end up posting in here when I bring a game back to my sister’s house that they can keep just so I can play a little.

Colson you have to get to Ayce Gogi in LA. They have great korean BBQ (cook it yourself at your table), and lots of pins.

Definitely John. Saw a few posts about that earlier. I’ll have to get down there and check it out.
I just picked up a 1967 Williams Touchdown for $99 from an extremely nice man. He just wanted it gone and would have probably given it away. He said it works, I don't have time to look into it, but it is complete. The cabinet has been re-painted and there is one broken plastic. The service repair man made many hack wiring repairs with wire nuts instead of soldered connections. The game won't start as the score wheel is stuck on 500 and won't reset. I will go through it when there is time. I am glad to have one more in the lineup!

Not to compare, but it reminds me that years back I picked one up for $35.00
No longer have that, but still have a couple of Kick Offs (AAB version).
Nice little player!

Game looks in excellent condition for $100, even if the cabinet is repainted. Congrats on that grab!
Quoted from hazmat7719:The cabinet has been re-painted and there is one broken plastic.
If they used latex paint you should be able to remove the outer paint, with little damage to the original paint. Buy something at your local home improvement store to remove latex paint, and try it around the back of the cabinet. That way if it doesn't turn out well, no one will see it.

Love my Kickoff. I'm on my second one.

Looks great!
Won this Saturday and just picked it up yesterday from the captains auctions. Just needs a good cleaning and new rubbers. Works fantastic. Beautiful pin.

There was so much stuff I wanted but they aren’t selling anything right now.
I know, doesn’t look like there’s any hard tops so I’ll probably buy a better used one. If anyone has a Xenon playfield please let me know!

Hardtops should be back in stock by October at the latest. Cpr has the xenon playfields in stock.

What is your opinion?

I really like it. Great shooter, pretty fun rules, good theme/integration.
Sounds are too much treble but that is pretty minor in the big picture.
I am considering buying one for home, but I am more of a buy used for less sort of guy.
