Wait... what? You've got friends?

But you did call me old in another thread and even though that's partially true, you might have one less now. j/k Congrats on the nice pickup!!

Picked up an EM resto project today for cheap. Start up the Flipper Parade! Super dirty but looks like it will clean up nice. I did a little test section with Novus 2.

I'd like to give a shout out to cosmokramer for the awesome tip to stop by Ayce Gogi in Van Nuys, CA. I was just out there on business this week and made it a point to stop in and check it out. That place is freakin' awesome!

Not pinball but something I have been wanting for a long time and it is finally here-a restored Paperboy!

I want to thank three great pinsiders for making this dream come true. I want to thank ghostbc(Lyons Pinball) for contacting me and giving me a great deal on a project Paperboy, I want to thank Gexchange (Game Exchange-JJ and crew) for helping me convert to LCD screen(the monitor was toast) and I want to thank Drew13(Mile High Arcade) for helping with the new decals, overlay, etc. -Thanks guys!

This truly is a dream come true, I cant count how many hours I spent at 7-11 playing Paperboy(often cutting class). I now get to share this fantastic game with my 6 year old son who absolutely loves it. To be able to relive my youth with my son is priceless.

I’m bringing this Robo War home tonight. I called the estate seller and she agreed to hold it for me so that I could drive down 400 miles from Atlanta. Of course many people tried to buy it out from under me, but she kept her word and sold it to the first caller (me). Game plays well but the playfield is dirty with no wear. Factory Mylar still on the field. Only issue is that the displays are out.

At least two people offered to pay more than her $600 asking price. People that are doing this are usually creating auctions, driving the prices up for all collectors. If you didn’t get the pin, just move on. No need to hurt your fellow collectors pocketbooks.

Quoted from northerndude:

Cabinet looks fantastic

Overall it looks good, but someone touched up the paint on the front of the cabinet with I assume red testors model paint or fingernail polish as it’s on thick and I can see brush strokes. From five feet away it looks great.

If I can get the displays working and the game shopped prior to our local SFGE show I’ll try to bring it to share

I got a project No Good Gofers a little while ago and finally got it up and running. It is definitely a players machine that needs a bit of work but it is a bit of fun and my little dude is loving it. "Smack the gofers daddy."

Not a pin, but picked this Arcade Legends 2 up a little while ago. In great shape (would be mint if one cabinet decal wasn't damaged bringing it in) and after replacing a couple micros switches works perfectly. Would like to eventually convert it to Mame if I can ever figure out how!

Yay Monster Bash from Sega just arrived! Yes... the video game. Not the Monster Bash we all know and love. Truly a rare gem that needed to be posted here even though it shouldn't live in pinball land... Soon to come at the next Horrorhouse Fest!

Nice classic Sega arcade cab. Never played that game. And no side-art, eh? You should make some!

Years ago, I actually re-created and supplied the Zaxxon side-art files for ThisOldGame.com.

Monster Bash is quite a weird rare game for sure. Story is they didn't produce many of them as they didn't have the rights to use the monsters in the game (unlike the pinball version) from Universal... though hard to fully verify. Apparently I have 1 of 6 known to exist. 20 are supposedly out there...

First Pin, got some stuff to work on but it will give me something to do until I find my next one. Displays worked when I picked it but but don’t when I got home.

Any ideas? My harbor freight multimeter crapped out on me so I guess I gotta get one of those to chase down the issue.
