Or you could just get off your lazy ass and actually fix or restore a game.

Congrats. Happy fishing!

Drove 8 hours to get this EM that needs a little work. It’s my first pin. (Second if you count the one we are having professionally reconditioned). I wanted to Learn how to work on EMs and this was too good of a deal to pass over.

It lights up but just clicks I think the reset relay is the issue...but need to drive the 8 hours back home and get it in the garage to trouble shoot

If the score motor is just running and running check the switch stacks for the score reels first, 9 times out of 10 there is your problem. In one of the pictures you posted it shows one reel not at perfect zero location and I'd manual bump that one first to see if it resets.

If all the reels are not at zero, the motor will continue to run trying to reset the reels to zero position and you will go no further till it does.

Is that empty playfield made purposely to represent the Miami Dolphins stadium attendance?

Cool game. Never saw one of those before.

I've seen a couple but never got to play one. The BG colors were really nice on the two I've seen and this one seems to be in pretty decent shape as well.

Two rare/not often see payout pins today. Untouched/unplayed and tucked away for at least 35years..

1936 Stoner Turf Champs- Look at those metal castings!
1937 ESCO Broncho

Complete with ticket dispensers- you could put them in a Chuck E Cheese!

PB pickers dream (even tho I had to get it by bidding) This was a gift to the man I bought it from. (Gift was from an HD exec, with a custom HD pool table!) seller was extremely cordial and showed us around the house (they are selling).

I wanted to remove the balls before breaking her down and had a little trouble getting the lockbar and glass off - the owner looked at me in amazement and said he didn’t know those came off. When I lifted the playfield it blew his mind!

I thought it was a 1999, but it’s actually a Feb 2000. So - almost 20 years old and literally brand new (IMO)

Manual (still in plastic) was just laying inside. The goodie bag and set up instructions were stuck in the coin bin.

Yes it needs a good cleaning. New rubbers. Perhaps some LED’s. But besides that I’m leaving this thing as is. It’s better than a refurb - it’s almost new now!

I’ve mainly been into the “get the old broken ones cheap and fix them up to play” type of collector but this was too good to pass up

Question : as somewhat of a newbie - the amount of plays for the year / condition - good deal?

Quick follow up- the seller also had his “special room” besides the game room (which was amazing!) but as we were from out of town I was a little reluctant to see this “special room” (thinking 50 shades?). And then we walk into this.....

If anyone is looking to buy a house in the Chicago area let me know.

Wow; looks like you could get a lot of pins in there!

Quoted from Nikrox2:

It just matters what you paid but its all about condition for the deal as total plays can be reset. I can tell you that some collectors would think that’s a lot of plays but they usually pay for extremely nice pin. If you ever do decide to sell it i wouldn’t advertise low plays because it’s way to subjective, condition will sell it after you shop it. Also, battery corrosion on the boards is probably the biggest risk for that pin. I’ve bought one similar where they didn’t know you could open the back box or take the glass off and batteries were corroded but luckily off the board.

Good find though! Hope you enjoy it! It will look amazing all cleaned up.

I was extremely worried about the batteries. Does this look like the factory install? No way these batteries could have lasted that long ?

Never done this before, but I traded (3) of my pins to Zach from FlipnOut pinball for IMDN Premium, DP Pro and BK3 premium. Zach was FANTASTIC and can’t recommend him enough. I was nervous for some reason because I never did such a huge deal like this before. Zach was like Santa Claus. He came right in and went straight to work. My wife brought some hamburgers home for supper and I couldn’t even convince the boy to stop and eat. He helped with everything and even took the cardboard boxes and pallets with him. He set the games up and cleaned my balls (tee hee....Sorry Zach.... I had to) and made sure I was happy with everything. We even found a limited edition IMDN comic and a signed lithograph taped to the very back of the pin, which was a pleasant surprise. Love Love Love my choice of pins!

Thanks Zach for everything buddy,

Not pinball related, but I picked up this bad boy this week as well. Special thanks to George “Mike” for helping me out with his friendly advice. Been wanting this guy ever since I saw him at Universal Studios with my family several years ago when we went through the Terminator 2 gift shop after going through the ride. I’m a huge movie buff and he sits next to the entrance of my home theatre. Oh... he guards the pins as well.

Heading back from Bethlehem PA with another project, this time, Olympic Hockey! We're thinking of a few neat mods to add to the experience of the game play. (Had to stop at Schell's hot dogs for a bite!)

We're glad you didn't! They're definitely not enough hockey themed games out there, we're hockey fans so we are excited to get it.
We're thinking of hacking the buzzer and putting the "foghorn" goal sound in when you get a goal. We also have a rotating beacon light we picked up years ago at a yard sale for a few bucks not sure what we would use it for, now we know. Get a goal, beacon and foghorn goes off!

Sounds very cool. Some of the features of Ice Fever. I had a minty one of those before, and I’ve seen people add the beacon topper to them. Should’ve never sold it. Low production, and you don’t see them a lot. Cool backbox animation when you score too.

Just fit below the roll cover in my truck with it laying on its side. Had to remove the aluminum posts from the roll top to fit under with pressure on the cover which was perfect.
