It seems like a cool game. I had not had the chance to play it before. It still has some issues to line out. No control lamps work and a couple coils aren’t firing but I am super pleased with the machine

Got a text from a friend that a close friend of his had a bunch of games for sale. I would get first chance to see the collection and make offers on my choices.
I arranged for a trip a few days later as the seller was out of town until then and it was a long drive
My wife and I left at 3:30 PM and got home at 2:30 AM, in bed around 3AM (ugh) with a total of 5 pins in tow (yay). That's the most number of pins I've ever bought at once!
Iron Man was a purchase for my buddy, not me
The seller was a super nice guy with an awesome collection

Did you grab one of these from Michigan? There was one on FB this week but I couldn't get a straight answer from the seller on if it actually worked to gamble on a 4 hour drive.

Stern used to do that with most/all of their machines as far as I know. I think all of my older ones had that.

Out of the factory NIB? Why the hell would they do that to a brand new game? I’ve seen a ton of IM’s that didn’t have any spray paint on the cab...NIB and used.

I know some operators used to do that. For what reason, I have no idea. These games don’t look routed though, especially given where you got them. Lloyd?

Maybe had an operators stamp or ID number on them, covered with the spray paint. Just a guess. If it was a black stamp or marker might not be able to see anything hidden by the spray paint. Wouldn't worry about it .

I’ve had plenty of HUO Stern games with the black spray under and sometimes inside the cab. I have no idea to why, but this is not unique.

Ok - thinking about it I guess I have seen this previously too. Shoulder shrug as to reason and frequency. No big deal though.
Ohhhhh I miss my bounty hunter - some great shots and flow ... and that one bandit drop target when it pops up ... great stuff!
Just brought this guy home! It'll clean up nicely, the front hasp hole needs some cleaning up, but overall it's pretty nice. The cab isn't faded like it looks in the picture, no wrinkles in the topper either. This is the only time I have ever landed a machine by asking about a game in the background of an ad, worked out great!
