I played this game for the first time at the Ohio Show last month and really liked it. . . little did I know the very same game would end up in my possession yesterday.

Just love that backglass art. . . it looks hungry!

That’s a great find.
Got to play this one a golden st yesterday. Was a nicely kept machine.
It is allot of fun. I find it strange how some of the more interesting games only had a few made. Seems like this would have been a hit when it came out and they would have kept production going

Picked up a nice Laser War today from a home that is 6 minutes away from me (in the middle of nowhere)! I’ve known the family all of my life and had no idea they had a pin! It’s not currently booting but the playfield is in amazing condition. The cabinet has some planking but is still presentable. Can’t wait to get it going!

Not really 100 % correct as per thread title, as didn't bring home a pin, but a metric shit ton of parts from more than a decade of pinball machines . . .

I joked 2 years ago when I helped my friend Greg Thorpe get his first pinball machine, No Good Gofers, that I was delivering it to the wrong house. I never actually planned on owning it myself. But Greg needed to sell it to make space for a new pin and said I would be the best person to have it.

Unloaded a Hokus Pokus last night, Now I have 2 but the price was a no brainer. Inside looks good, Complete with all the keys, lidded cash box, tilt ball and no WD40. Might try to airbrush the back glass but I realize that might destroy it. Maybe someone reading this might have a decent back glass for this machine.

Sold my Farfalla yesterday, and managed to score a Jackbot for a very nice price.
Now I need to find the Mega ramp plastic and the mini playfield. If someone have them...

No WD40 is a major bonus.

A second one in addition to the project one you’ve been working on?

Quoted from Colsond3:

Yes.

So I could speed up diagnostics and it came with a spare original backglass, which the project needed. I didn't want a reproduction as they are plastic and don't have mirroring.

The project is now operating at 95%, all I need now is to either replace the two lower dead displays or upgrade to LED units and there is a fussy connector under the playfield that causes two standups to register erratic. I'm going to re-pin that connector this week.

Darn funny hearing them run side by side!

Just a fuse!

I'm on the edge of ordering new LED displays for the project one, waiting to hear back from one or two folks first.

Back in the early 80's, I had the "pattern" down pat for Pac-Man. Was one of the best games at the time.

#12028 4 years ago
Quoted from ccbiggsoo7:

you have had 100 pins and think shaq is one of the best you have owned????? wow, never thought id hear that?

Well, I like Elektra and Mr. Ms. Pac Man for some of the same reasons.

If you really liked a game and can't play it anywhere, then what the hell are your alternatives? No Shaq's on location or in collections around here to play. I can play a handful of AFMs, MMs, or TAFs at every single tournament, arcade, or pinball show that I go. Why do I need to own those? For the price, it's a great game and when set up difficult, it's very hard to get a big score on it. There is also randomness which is related to skill and not ball drains, which is quite rare in pinball. I could go on but no one is convincing anyone of anything on Pinside ever... Maybe when pigs fly.

Know the feeling well. The AS Pro I got back in March was Marco's last one as well.

I heard a rumor at Arcade Expo -- I can't confirm it -- that "Dirty Donny" Gillies called Marco about that AS just after
I snatched it up.

Just received my WH2O which I had been negotiating with the operator with for 3 years, persistence pays off I say. Wasn't working but found out a ribbon cable was not fitted correctly. Easy fixes are always the best.

Went with a friend to help him with the purchase of a 24. And there stood also a RnB. Emotions hit me as it was my very first pin 20 yrs ago and I couldn’t resist myself when I learned the price was OK.
