Oh the annoyance of this thread. Do I thumb up because of your excitement? Or do I thumbs down because I don't like the game... Ok, in this case the joy of a machine you wanted for the win! Thumbs up awarded to you good Sir!

This weekend's haul. A bit of a basket case but hopefully the gods will favor me when it comes to reassembly.

Picked up game #4 a few days ago from a collector in The Netherlands. Solid machine that needs a cleaning and new sideart eventually, but I'm very happy to finally own the greatest pin of all time.

Interesting; I had not considered installing the legs as it slides out of the truck bed. For one, I used ramps and dolly (it became a little speedy and thought 'I'm not doing that again'). The last one, pivoted on the gate, to the ground, wrapped in moving blankets and ground cushion. Worked well, however my back continues to remind me. Congrats on Twilight Zone.

Quoted from alimerick:

El Dorado, Solar City, Lucky Strike, Gold Strike, El Dorado City of gold, Target Alpha all have the same playfield. Different rules and art.

All have the same basic layout but El Dorado playfield is slightly different physically from the multiplayer versions.

Starting from the top of the playfield, it has a 'Special' insert just below the drop-target inserts, a 'Moves spot' rollover just below that, and does not have the 'Double bonus' or 'extra ball' inserts close to the flippers. A couple extra inserts in the lanes next to the flippers and one extra insert in the upper-right 'skill shot' area. Target values are also very different.

City of Gold obviously has far more inserts.

If you can find it, Zep "spree" or Zep "spirit" works great on smoke stains.

I brought this one home late last night. It plays, but needs a thorough cleaning and a few tweaks. It was a really good price though. Also, I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t think that backglass is original....... (insert sarcastic lol here)
