Maybe one day you will.

Yes, that would have been a 'final frontier'.
Quoted from frankmac:Best pin in the 5k range. So glad this baby is home !!

Great pickup! Where the heck did you find a 5K Monster Bash?!
Chris
Finally “The Addams Family” is in the house!! I was lucky enough to find this in town and in killer good shape! Lights need a little work but it plays great! I am officially done buying machines now.....no more....that’s it....enough already. Unless...I find a good deal!

Welcome to the club! There’s a good group of pinsiders currently restoring these.
Quoted from cletus:Welcome to the club! There’s a good group of pinsiders currently restoring these.
Thanks! I've been reading through a few of the restoration threads. Lots of good info and help going on now with reviving these machines. Going to spend some time tomorrow going over it to see what my plan of attack will be.

Do it!
Quoted from grantopia:Gotta find a broken one at a reasonable price first .
I'm always looking for a cheap F14. This seemed like a fair to good deal. Enjoy!
Quoted from shacklersrevenge:Going for the eighttttttttt ball...
absolutely love this game to pieces, (yes even the LE version)

Best pin ever, IMHO
Quoted from dasvis:Best pin ever, IMHO
In its day, it was the best pin ever. I have wasted many an hour standing in front of one, and I bet the operators appreciated it too!
Quoted from PoBoyPinball:I’ve seen people guess what game with less of a clue that I have. There’s a little sneak peek of the backglass in the back seat.

I don't know why, but I get excited when other people post about their new pinball finds. I can't wait to post my own soon...not sure if it will really count though, as I'm not technically bringing it home if it's shipped to me...

ohhhh so jealous!
Brought the Meteor home last night. It went from the pick location to my friend’s house.
Had to do some re-soldering in the back box; now I can fix the center drop targets and replace rubber + LED it out. Probably not a long-term keeper, but it’s fun for now. Working fine aside from that center drop target bank.
Black Knight 2K came home the same night and I’m slowly working on that one. Mostly just a few broken plastics, old lighting, and aged plastics there. Need to adjust some sluggish targets (they trigger properly, a few just fall slowly) and rebuild flippers, but otherwise working fine.
8ball Deluxe was promised to a friend and probably won’t ever come to my house. It worked okay but had some glitches because some of the wiring is, uh...melted-ish. I’ll let him have fun dealing with that. Sounds like he’s going to fully restore it, so that’s neat.

Wasn’t going to pass this one up. HUO and modded to the hilt.
And yet I’ve already been onto Mezelmods for more lol. This game is insane, I’m loving how brutal it can be but always keeps me coming back for more.
Quoted from jokerpoker:HUO and modded to the hilt.
Some of the mods look good, I do think the upper left corner is too crowded. I would remove the barn so you can see Motorhome, and the large figurine that does not fit scale with other figurines. Sometimes less is more-looks good.

Nice haul. Photos of the Eureka and Key Lite are needed for the IPDB. Please consider adding photos. I have notified Jay.
Are any of these for sale?

I was actually in the process of getting some pictures together for IPDB as well as here. They are not for sale.

I believe that the Eureka is the '38 version.
Quoted from DennisDodel:I believe that the Eureka is the '38 version.
I think you are right-good catch! If you look at the left of the name on the glass, the 1947 version has 'flags' while the 1938 version is 'boxes'. The head on mine has a different lower shape to it with the curve then either of the images in the ads/flyers as well- but definitely factory.

Last time I checked the posting rules in this thread- that still counts!

Have to agree, that was the area I will look at and see what I can do to improve it.
