I wondered if the image name would show...Man, you guys are good!
It’s been 6 years since I brought home my last pin so I asked a family to come live with us today.

Double score for me!
Any guesses from just the backbox side that you can see in the picture?

I don't think I've every played one. I asked the guy how he came about owning it and he said he bought for his cabin in Michigan when the kids were younger so at one point, it was in Michigan.
Nice older gentleman who was getting ready to downsize his household. Surprisingly, the game works for the most part as it seemed like he never did anything with it in terms of maintenance, etc. The only thing I noticed is that it didn't go to game over after the last ball drained. Hopefully, that won't be too hard of an issue to resolve.

Another Bama guy! Welcome to the addiction.
Picked this beauty up from a fellow pinside. Don’t see these around in the wild too much here so I’m stoked to play it. The code looks really good! Too bad it wasn’t a Chevy.

Wow, great artwork on the back glass
For a 63 year old machine ! Not bad. Having issues with the Ball Count not working and I’ll need to change out the chime / bell coils but everything else seems to work! Love these older games!
Just picked this one up after a 6.5 hour drive this morning. About to head back! Playfield looks good, a few broken plastics but everything else is there. Will need cleanup and the display just reads “Failure” when the machine turns on so some board issues to sort out.
The good news is I got it for $1000 so there’s plenty of room to get it right.

Oh man jealous! Your adjust failure error is likely just dead batteries or possibly a bad holder/cold solder. I’d check for any leakage on the board in that area if you haven’t yet.
Quoted from jawjaw:$1000 for a Whirlwind!? Nice find!
Thanks! It took a little Sherlock Holmes action on my part to find it. A guy responded to my wanted post on a pinball Facebook group that he thought there was a Whirlwind in a little town in south Texas that had been in a pizza place for years and was now in a warehouse somewhere but that’s all he knew. So I called all the pizza places in that town and eventually tracked it to a warehouse owned by a pool table and arcade company. The owner didn’t know much about fixing pinballs and was just looking to move it on as it wasn’t working. He asked for $1000 and I said “when can I come get it”!

Good to know! The batteries were definitely toast, I pulled them out right away. I will put some fresh ones in when I get home and see what happens. Thanks for the tip!
Quoted from Nihonmasa:Wrong time of the year, no money, now have to sell something quick but could not pass on the offer!
Loading and drive back home in the snow storm was less fun. Took twice the time it should have taken XD

And here is what I just found inside!
Can we say « complete »?? Not even one of the removable point stuff is missing!
Yep, headphone plug and italian backglass version.
Don’t know if there was any american version over here.
Hey old EM tech’s - this Piccadilly has one of the chime/bell coils bad. Even the tabs are broken off.
Newbie Question - replacing my flipper coils on a Hot Shot (to get stronger flippers for a buyer). - can i use one of those for my chime coil?
Or is there a voltage issue that could cause me trouble here?
It’s not the cost but if I have these as spares I don’t have to wait on an order delivery and I can fix this weekend.
Thoughts or comments?
Just count to 3 and a new hole will appear for a game that just poped up and the hole in the pinball fund
The most recent acquisitions. Jokerz! Cleaned up really well and I have been having fun with it. T3 was dropped off by a fellow Pinsider this evening. Needs some cleaning but otherwise good condition.
