Quoted from Deerlakes6:

Viva italia ...great feeling to add sopranos to the lineup..
[quoted image]

Nice addition. I was never very familiar with the show. But I was surprised how much I liked this game. I would like to own one someday. Lots of shots and some good, adult humor. Nice find.

Quoted from Cloud7:

Love how the code has progressed and had to pick a Hobbit.
[quoted image]

I miss my Hobbit. Such a dazzling game to look at. Very fun and much improved code. I had Dialed In! and The Hobbit, and I miss my Hobbit more. I would love to own that game again someday.

Nice addition!

Quoted from jmountjoy111:

I love this game. Something about that music just draws me in!
[quoted image]

Rock, Rock Encore, and Heavey Metal Meltdown are among some other early pinball rock themes that incorporate the guitar riff well.

Those, along with Eugene Jarvis in the 80's and then Getaway in the early 90's, (and to a lesser extent Judge Dredd) guitar riffs eventually evolved into incorporating fully licensed bands into games. It's no accident that Getaway and games like BTTF had "singles" licensed to the creators of those games. It eventually evolved into an entire game, themed around the actual band's songs.

I consider Tommy to be the first actually liscensed rock music themed game where the songs actually BECOME the game. It came out just months before GnR.

Sure you have early games like Bally Kiss, Rolling Stones and even Nugent but the songs are not "the game" for a reason. They really have nothing to do with the gameplay. It was just not feasible at that time to attempt to incorporate the actual music into the gameplay in the late 70's. Beyond the Kiss tune when you start the game, I can't really think of another licensed song in a pinball machine until BTTF, which came out in 1990.

Got this beautiful machine today. Once again Fast Eddie did a great job at transporting. Fits well with my AFMrSE. I am thinking about letting go of SP for either a CFTBL or a MBrSE once they hit the 2nd owner market.

Another one I really miss. "F**k" multiball was the best. I literally laughed so hard the first couple of times I got it that I couldn't concentrate on making my shots.

My first ever Wedge Head. Love the sounds!!!
Calling pinball resource in the AM to get correct legs, schematic and a switch adjuster. Beautiful playfield. This bad boy is the same age as my 67 Firebird. I see some more of these on the horizon for the “cave”.

yzfguy The goal is to complete the set of diamonds by hitting the card in the center. They rotate on a wheel and are called a roto target. As you score each letter it drops in the window from above. Just like a Bank a ball pinball

Nah, not you !!

Up for some tequila???

My first ever Wedge Head.

You picked a true classic. Getting 2-5, 6-9, and 10-Ace: each receives an
added ball. Once all 3 sets have been completed, the bank resets..
I have quite a few Wedge Heads, and D.J. is one of my tops..

Congrats on the Slimer addition! I'm a big fan of this difficult, colorful machine. Our 2nd pin ever! We still have ours. Lots of work to get it right, airballs protected, etc. Once it's right, it's really a fun, unique pin! Great mods for this game too. Enjoy!

Thanks for the kind words....on the cars and JJPOTC. No garage queens here. The 458 is my daily driver and I use my GT mostly for acceleration events like 0 to a mile or mile and a half as fast as you can go at air strips a few times a year. GT is a little over 1000hp at the rear wheels. I have done 243mph in it.....and my wife did 231.5 a couple years ago.

All that cold weather in the Midwest delayed my JJPOTC too. Tracking stopped in Wisconsin on 1/25 and never updated again until it arrived.

458 is a beautiful car, congratz!

I used to have a 430 as daily but with birth of my son switched to family car (RS3) !?!
Thinking of picking up a Hurucan soon though

Congrats on your son! That is the best reason to have to sell. I really enjoyed my 430. Great fun and the first Fcar you could daily drive without crazy maintenance. I had a convertible but sold it when I got the 458. I have only driven the aventador but a guy I race with has a huracan. Crazy great performance and will feel much quicker than 430.

Back on topic I really am enjoying JJPOTC. I love the theme and it is living up to the hype! Looking forward to understanding it better and getting deeper into the game.

Nothing beats a roadtrip with a very good friend to pick up some pinballs. Interest was in the TOM and the FH was collateral damage but a nice damage indeed
