Where do you get that mod?
Quoted from NightTrain:Where do you get that mod?
Mezel mods I think , or maybe they're on eBay ?
I just brought home this BEAUTIFUL Cannes today. What an interesting game. Playfield is immaculate, everything plays wonderfully, it is very fast, and everything is very clean. Now I am out of room for pins at my house! At least until my wife allows me to annex part of our living room after we already removed the table from the dining room for these, that is...

Quoted from jmountjoy111:Picked up this Grand Prix project.
That would be a cool game to have.Over 10 K built, how many remain?
Someone's left half a leg leveler under the glass?
Superb+ Junkyard.
Waiting for shopping, and minor cabinet touchups.
No cabinet fading, playfield clearcoat still strong, no major issues on the playfield including ramps, electronics, or plastics.
Wrecking Ball Plastic actually was not chipped or broken, and the crane worked fine.
Basic strip down, flipper rebuild, 5 microswitches (intermittent age and play), two plastics (chipped), and a few cabinet touch ups.
Second machine of this type I have owned in my lifetime, last one sold in 2007.
I will keep this one, because nice ones are getting hard to find.

Careful, you have started the pinball ride, that make you end up in "Stage 2" soon.
Stage 2
- Now, its "Hey, this is even better than I remember....."
- Buying spree begins, dependent on monetary funds
- The new collector starts buying machines that do not work, are missing parts, etc.
to save money, or to finance buying more machines
- Collector has to start justifying his actions to his family and wife
- Machines start taking up places in the house that they should not be
- Collector begins thinking about building a "game room" (seriously)
"Been there, done that, bought the T-Shirt"

Nice TSPP.
I see it has my lighted Moe's sign......

Lol. Yeah the guy said it fell off when he moved it so he laid it there for safe keeping. It has been removed. He was a super nice guy just not a pinhead. It will clean up really nicely. Right now the steppers just continuously click so I'd say I have some bad contacts.
Quoted from indypinhead:Nice TSPP.

Thanks! Oh cool. I didn't know you made that!
I really like the lighted sign. What type of bulb is in there?

I experimented a bit.
I found the 555 warm frosted white from Cointaker worked best...(can't say for sure that is the one in your particular machine, but I include the warm white LED in the kit).
Glad you like it...
Feel free to share your thought on my pinside post...(word of mouth advertising is all I have).

It sounds like I skipped Stage 1.
Brought home a very dirty (hopefully minor project) Hardbody on Friday. I don't care what people say, it's a fun machine.
Just picked up an unusual hybrid game--Gottlieb Caveman. There's a code/rule update for this game, which should improve the gameplay drastically.

Playfield looks good, but the backglass was badly flaking (if anyone has a good spare to sell, let me know ). The battery basically threw up all over the MPU. But, it's a standard 80A board, so that's not a huge hurdle to replace.

Oh, man. Todd Tuckey had 6 of these in parts one year at the Allentown show. Interesting hybrid for sure.

Yeah, I heard. Wish I was at that show. It sounded like a real shame for all those pins to be parted out after they didn't sell. Oh well

The one thing I remember about this machine is that it weighs a ton, and I hated moving it. Finding a new back glass could be a real problem, as there just are not that many left and I am not even sure Mayfair or other older parts sellers stock the glass. It is a part of pinball history like Granny and the Gaters

Yeah, it was a bit on the heavy side, but since I took the backbox off, it wasn't too bad. The monitor really does add some weight to the body cabinet, though.
I already have a baby pacman--I've also been keeping an eye out for a Gators too for the right price. Varkon is another one, but probably too rare to find one out in the wild.
Quoted from galaga50:My first EM.
I've never seen a machine with more ways to lose the ball! I counted 7 !!!
Good fun to play though!miss_o.jpg miss_o_pf.jpg
Quoted from o-din:Miss-O has always been flying under the radar. I'd love to put in a few rounds on that game.
Yours would need to be Miss-O-din
Chris
Quoted from Chosen_S:O-din, congratulations on 22,075 posts! I still love Tron!
Thanks! I have posted a lot but that number seems a bit exaggerated. Possibly counting every edit as a post as well. I know I rarely if ever made over 20 posts a day let alone 25 every day seven days a week since I've been on here. I guess in the end it really doesn't matter.
Glad you are still enjoying that TronLE. It really was a nice one.
Quoted from dmbjunky:Like absurd good or absurd bad?
Absurd good.
The AHNULD trio is complete.

Last pickup for a very long time probably.

Yeah I bought a pin in August. I bought a pin in September. I'm going to Expo this weekend to buy the lower cabinet of a pin for parts and you just never know...

No Kidding, pretty EPIC DELIVERY!
unless you have a Ferrari in the garage, then meh.. nice delivery
Quoted from Taygeta:.
Also got a D&D from the same pinsider. Never seen or played it, but I love Hardbody's flex save and took a gamble. Very unique layout and kickass music.

A friend of mine was the artist that did the backglass on the Dungeon & Dragons game, His name is Larry Elmore. One of the nicest guys you will ever met.
(he actually did the art on the Alien's face you see in my pinside avatar)

Don't see anything but a few bikes, a couple ladders, a bucket collection, handsaw, and a razor scooter. So going with Epic!
