Sure wish I could get a scan of that HP backglass. Looks great.
I wish it was my home (and my game) but I moved this for a friend. He’s not a pinball guy and could use a good tech in Austin that has experience with this era of Gottlieb. I’m fairly certain it needs the ground mods done as most of its problems are just quirks. I just don’t have the level of comfort working on such a rare game that I don’t own myself.

Send him a scan of your left slingshot plastic and maybe he’ll reciprocate with a backglass scan.

Bill are you looking to get a backglass or a translite made? Bgresto has the art on file so he can make you a backglass.

The $350 price tag kills it for me.

In a heartbeat.

Is that your first Elektra? Such an amazing pin. I love mine.
Quoted from Aladdin:Is that your first Elektra? Such an amazing pin. I love mine.
Yes sir
Needs new rubber and a good cleaning and the LED treatment but will look nice when finished.
@pfcjimmy, did you get that off of craigslist milwaukee? If so, you just beat me to it as I saw the ad right after it went up (just lucky to be browsing at that time) and when I contacted him he said someone had already made an offer...

Yeah. Seller was nice and had the game since 91. Said he had an offer for $300.

I never even got to make an offer...when I contacted him he said that he already had an offer and if that person (you, apparently) passed on it, he'd contact me. I didn't hear from him
Glad it went to another pinsider.

Awesome grab...especially if you picked it up on the cheap. Finally got mine set up and just finished shopping it. Very fun game.
I absolutely hate the bulb sockets Bally used on these games. Orange Titan rubbers look great on this one. Still have to play with a few sockets and install the correct flips on the bottom PF.
Here’s my before

Between the Elektras and the 8 Ball Deluxe games I've seen posted here lately I'm a little jealous. Owning a 1981 Bally game is a must have on my list, congrats nice pick up!

Two of my favorite games. They are both a lot of fun and both have tremendous replay value.
I haven't visited this thread in a while and scrolled through 800+ posts. All I have to say is you guys are nuts!!
I picked up a TWD Pro last week from a Pinsider and love it. Actually from the last time I posted here I picked up the two machines in the background as well. Time to move 2 pins out.

I like 'em. It matches Dirth Harry now
Made an 11.5 hour journey each way to pick this one up. Slim pickings in the Florida Panhandle - you want a pin, you better be ready to be a road dog...
FTR, Stern pins fit in a 2015 Fit.
Easy to do by yourself with a 1.5" diameter PVC pipe : )!
Had to move the safe and the pool table to make space - no problem. A 3 ton low profile jack and a HF lift table, each with a 2 x 4 shaved to 17" long to keep the weight distributed across the pool table!
And just like that, 700 lbs pool table moved with a simple push : ).
After a bit of grunting, the safe was moved, and Autobot # 105 took its new home! Polk sub coming in tomorrow and LED ColorDMD on Saturday!

That's good to know, I couldn't get a Sega Godzilla in my 2013 Honda Fit (well I got it in, but had to put it on it's side). I wonder how much difference there is.

Did you drive 11 hours there not knowing if it would fit?! I would have an ulcer thru my stomach before I got there!
Quoted from NPO:Made an 11.5 hour journey each way to pick this one up.
WOW! You might qualify for Pinsider of The Month. That is way more further than most of us would drive for a pin.
Quoted from yzfguy:Did you drive 11 hours there not knowing if it would fit?! I would have an ulcer thru my stomach before I got there!
Hehehehehhe. I had a pretty good feeling. I took my GoTPro to a Squadron event here at Eglin AFB, so I had a pretty good feeling about it : ). Jury is still out on B/W games. I do know Scott Weir brought a ST:TNG in a 2009 Fit with zero issues. Helped him unload it myself.
Picture here is of our Tech Advisor and the Director of Operations (read: good friends in high up places....all about the networking...!) playing after the Squadron event. They were like (2) 15 yr olds ribbing each other and having a great time!

Accepted : D!!!! Not going to deny, it is a long drive for any non-NIB game down here in the Panhandle. Last two trips have been 16 hours round trip and this one was about 23 hours roundtrip. Once I have enough $$ saved up, I will head back to Ohio for another game or two on my radar : ).
I know and trust a couple pinsiders up in that area very well and don't mind making the drive KNOWING the pin I am getting was babied with TLC.
Oh, and the reason why I got Autobots goes back to TPF 2018. Future Mrs. made it very clear: "We have to get one of these!" May have taken me 9 months, but I made it happen!!!

I'm pretty sure the Sterns are about 1/2" bigger (Taller) than B/W, so you should be fine!!

Holy smokes! I would have never even considered transporting a pin in my Honda Fit; I'm amazed! Great to know for the future...

Coulda took head off but wife wanted to join us anyways. So we’ll leave it wrapped up and bring it home in truck. Just prefferred it be in a climate controlled cab for ride home. 30 degreesout so not too cold.
X-men LE Magneto #248
Decked out with mods. Only need a little adjusting post shipping and to find the magneto ball gate screw that came loose in order to get it playing 100% after its freight journey.
Time to rearrange the lineup to get all the Marvel pins together. X-men, Deadpool and Guardians.
