Mine was listed on fleabay but I contacted the seller and we made a deal.

Nice pick up.I see it's got the mantis protectors, but cant' make out if it's got boulder protectors.Well worth getting along with the vuk protector.
Check out the raft set on uk ebay.Gotta have the home rom too.Anticipating the release of the Twisted pin topper.Mine came with the obligatory bubble topper.Estimating the topper and shipping to aus will be $350 plus,we'll see.
Got mine in April 2013.it kicks my arse a lot. That tight lower playfield can be brutal.
Quoted from travisbmartin:It's a bit rough to look at, but I think I've got a nice project on my hands today.

Was this the one without back glass in a Craigslist post with no back glass?

Yeah. I work a third shift job so my wife and I were able to run and get pretty easily

I tried to get that but the lister wouldn't reply to my emails or texts... Finally did after it was gone. Care to say what you ended up getting it for?

I got it for $300. Looks like the boards are a loss, and of course no backglass. So if it comes down to it, I've got a decent playfield and a cabinet that needs some work on it.

Not today but first NIB last week! (Thread: http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/unboxing-a-new-metallica-premium-pics#post-1730250)
The CL gods finally gave me something. Searching super far away from my house I found a craigslist ad for a garage sale saying they have "pinball machines". I send an email asking which ones (almost always EM's), I get a phone number for the owner. She had a T3 that was pretty much retail, but a players condition ES for a VERY fair price. 13 hours/600 miles later I'm thrilled to have gotten this! Badly needs a shop job, have a bad opto on the dropdown target, but otherwise looks great for it's age! Backglass needs to be sealed but isn't too bad.
I'm finally overwhelmed with projects where hopefully I'll keep off of CL for a while now.

Don't count on it!
I rescued a Popeye from a nearby laundromat. I have wanted to play one for a long time and a local pin buddy told me there was one in a little laundromat only a few minutes from my house. Long story short, I went there multiple times and the game was always broken, sometimes for months on end. Couldn't find an operator tag, so they were owned by the location. With some help and persistence, we got ahold of the owner and made the deal to save it. Best part was that he had it fixed again before I picked it up. Got it for a great price too. She is filthy but is all there and is cleaning up nicely. Literally every single bulb in the backbox was burned out...but all the flashers worked. Can't wait to get her all cleaned up and playing again. Here are a few pics of it and a pic of my 3 year old son playing it when it was at the laundromat.
Quoted from MiamiRedSkin:Any new machines added to the collection this weekend?
Quoted from KevInBuffalo:Congo came home yesterday -- bought it at the Ohio show but it's been at a friend's house since. Glad to add it to the mid-90's Bally/Williams row.
Got it set up, hooked in an external sub and tweaked out some LEDs on the playfield. It had a ton of green in the GI and I wanted to see more of the color in the artwork so I changed some out for whites.
Just gotta get Johnny Mnemonic home to go next to it now!image-777.jpg 239 KB
