I picked up a fine Metallica cab that way. There's a Scared Stiff playfield leaning up against it right now.....

Looks fantastic from here.Congrats on getting what you want from so far away.i know next to nothing about importing a game.
Sometimes its good when non-pinheads know you own pinball machines. Got a text that my neighbors. They were cleaning out the rec room at their church..."do you want this pinball machine? Its free." It doesn't currently work, but the playfield is in pretty good shape.
Anyone know where I can score a backglass for a 1975 Williams Little Chief?
That game looks to be in good condition. Hope that you are able to find a backglass for your Little Chief! Nice find!!

Rephrasing statement:
This is my favorite thread on Pinside. When I see there are new posts I get excited to see your pictures. I'd love to see a shot of your new machine in addition to any other photos you want to post.
I only suggest this to make the thread even more enjoyable for everyone, not to put anybody down. I'm sorry for the snarky tone in this post previously. I look forward to seeing your game pics and sharing in the excitement of your new pin.
Quoted from Zavadoza:PSA: "What machine DID you bring home today?" As in, show a pic of the game you BROUGHT home. Not show us your ugly mug and part of a cabinet bringing a game home. That's just not as exciting to us as it is to you. This isn't directed at any recent post, but all posts that fit this description.
So please, take a pic before it gets in your vehicle or after so we can celebrate your new addition with you and get a look at the game. Thanks!
I understand what point you are getting at, and it is valid. But at the same time, I don’t mind the ‘cabinet only slightly visible’ pics.
It almost makes it a bit of a guessing game as to what they bought, and I think that’s why some members post that way. It’s kind of fun to have to look closely to figure out their new treasure.

I see your point. I just get fatigued when people milk the whole, "guess what I got?" tease. My perspective is, "I probably don't know you and I'm just here for the pics."
But everyone can post what they want. I want to keep it positive. If you're posting to get upvotes (don't lie, you probably are), then tell a cool story or put a little effort in the pics. Game on and Happy hunting!

If that was an EM, I most likely would know it..
Know nothing on newer machines, and I'll still say "Elvira".
I'm sure you'll be posting additional pics once she's set
back up..

Oops, sorry.
My first wishlist pin btw... Woot!

Roller Coaster is a good fun machine. Congrats!

Nice! Must have been a decent trade alright!!

Yes, yes it is. And the car pic is because some of us drive 10 hours in a day to grab a machine and get excited

I get it. But you saw the game and looked it over before you crammed it in your vehicle. Snap a photo! I just want to make it exciting. That SS looks really nice.

Those pics are fun.I hope the selfies continue.
They might have driven a very long way to get it.
I don't ' celebrate' anyone bringing home a game, but I do find it interesting what people are adding/changing to their line ups.

So, you can't take a full picture before loading it but you can stop after ball two? C'mon man!
Seriously, though, congrats on a nice looking machine.

Lol. Actually I didn’t. I knew the seller and it was folded up ready for transport. Full turn and burn yesterday

PSA: don’t post a bunch of whining complaints about people posting half faced selfies in a 10K post thread that has literally been filled with half faced selfies. I know you think your opinion is the only one that matters and all but the rest of us really don’t care what you think.

My posts on this topic yesterday were not hating on pics that barely have the game in it, but a suggestion that it's even better if we can see the game and that I want to keep it positive.
I've been through every post in this thread over the last few years and the ones that "most of us" have upvoted are the ones with detailed pics of the game and cool narratives (if there is one) on how we got it.
It's Good vs. Better. Not mandatory.

Someone always has to be the 'wet blanket' in the thread.
Still the best thread on Pinside!!

I changed the wording on the OP. Reality check: i suggested more game pics and less selfies.
Cut the melodrama and move on.
Finally got to uncrate today's pick up.

Some people probably wouldn’t have drove 14 minutes (let alone hours) to get this particular title, but I love it.
It’s past midnight here now, so I’ll set it up tomorrow. But here’s some pics!

Here I go again. Picked up a game on my wish list. Left at midnight and drove seven hours to Waynesboro Virginia to pick up a 1966 Bally Gold Rush. Thanks again to bluespin for the lead on this machine. Saw the ad Monday night and messaged the seller and got the game locked down. Play field is very dirty and very little wear. Game appears complete except missing gate over center bonus mushroom bumper. Backglass has a few wear spots but is in much better shape than the last four examples that I’ve considered buying in the past year. Cabinet is solid and has some wear but will clean up and present very well.
Not headed home quite yet. Going to make a stop in Roanoke and see the Pinball Museum and then also stop at Black Dog Salvage before I venture back through Kentucky to pick up game number two. Details to follow...
You have to get up early to be able to compete with Colsond3

This is the game I grew up with in my basement. Would like to get one back but they seem to go for stupid money in poor condition.
Quoted from Gnatty:Love that Basketball mounted TV in the wall, nice touch next to Shaq
I agree, though sadly that pic was taken at the sellers house.
I have gotten it setup at my place now though, and it’s currently parked beside my nba hangtime cab.
...and game # 2 is Gotlieb 1967 Surf Side. I am not a Gotlieb guy but it has cool double flippers and roto target goodness. Played a really nice one today at the Roanoke Pinball Museum.

Congrats, both look nice.
