Quoted from Ben1981:Iron maiden for me, a new cardboardhouse for the little ones
Ah, the good old days when the box was more fun than what was inside!
Quoted from Black_Knight:Very reasonable auction buy today. Now just need a Solar Fire to complete the FabFour set.
Nice find!! What kind of auction???
Just a local memorabilia auction. It was the only machine and lot 21 so I got out of there early (before spending any more money)

Close - it does have green monsters!....Alien LE (I hope)
Picked up an RCT this morning. Guy tells me he bought it new and hasn't been played in years, excellent condition. We have all heard this before. So I almost bailed on going to look at it as my buddy couldn't let me use his SUV as he had agreed to. So, I took a shot/risk (pin was an hour from me) and went to Uhaul and got a van... fingers crossed this was as the seller described and a few out of focus pics somewhat showed. So I arrive and can't imagine it looking any better the cab is mint/like new and I stared going thought the service menu and he say's "how'd you do that?" So then I start to get worried -----batteries! I ask him last time he removed back glass and he says "Huh?" So I attempt to remove back glass and it's frozen, won't lift after a few try and more pressure than i've ever applied to a back glass it frees up and raises. Batteries have leaked Lucky for me no damage to boards as top battery seemed to leak most onto bottom 2. Still had original strap from Stern holing batteries. He said "Man I didn't even know those were there" Lastly, I said to him did this come straight from the Stern factory in Melrose Park to this basement (was in Chicago) and he says "How'd you know that"
This thing still has a newish smell
In all i'm very pleased I went through with this and think I paid a decent price!

I picked up a similar RCT last year, but the damage was done. Didn't cost too much for the board repair though, so ended up being a nice deal.
One word...NVRAM
Congrats on your purchase. ColorDMD will look sweet in that game.

Quoted from epeabs:Picked up this Last Action Hero at Pintastic. What a fun game.
Like that backglass better than the original - too much of Arnold's puss! Underrated game.

Awesome find. I played RCT when it came out on computer years back and loved it (though I found I could not design a decent roller coaster) then I played the board game which was fun. How is the play on the pinball?
Quoted from o-din:Picked up a couple more Stern Stars projects.
Really digging the cabinet repaint on this one.
Kinda looks like a German V1 flying bomb from WWII.

Kinda reminds me of the water rocket I played with when I was a kid.

So far I am loving it, still early. I am more of a theme player though. It seems to play slow and drain FAST! I am awaiting some goodies for it and can't wait for the color dmd! I also am going to play around w/ some of my own mods since nobody makes any for this!

OMG, haven't thought about that in so many years. I loved that thing!

I liked mine with a super boost for maximum height, put soda instead of water....Vrooooommmmmmmm.
Added this HUO, 2 owner, 150 play Indy 4 today! I know he’s Williams’ Indy’s less popular cousin, but I’m a crazy Indy fan. Excellent overall, needs a couple tweaks and maybe a trough switch fix. Been looking for one for a while. Already have mods and blades ordered!

A little color vomity without the pinstadium lights it had on the show floor (not included) but I'm gonna make my own.

Nice pickup. Though, I think you need a LCD ColorDMD and LEDs in that order.
