Worth the wait! So, so, much fun.

Heading to CT this week or next weekend, and hopefully Pintastic for at least a day. I’ll have to swing by on the way up and throw some games up.

Quoted from Scoot:

Drove too far, paid too much, and Frankie is in rough shape but it will be super nice when restored.

Nice...add some spots, trough light and mirror blades. They do wonders for MSF. And color DMD or an extender. Here’s my nephew playing mine.

Unfortunately it had it's original battery. I'll get on this when I get the chance. Work & 4 kids will delay it but here's a couple more pics.

That Trident backglass looks like it’s in amazing condition. You never see them like that.

The MPU on the other hand....those are always corroded, even when the battery has been cut off.

Be sure to post some pics of the playfield.

Lol - that’s one way to put it on free play I guess.

Be sure to post a pic in the doorbell thread.

I was a little too tall
Could've used a few pounds
Tight pants points hardly reknown
She was a black-haired beauty with big dark eyes
And points all her own sitting way up high
Way up firm and high

I was a little too stuffed, had to lose a few pounds,
Pants too tight, seams bustin' out.
Just had a big burrito with beans and rice,
Salsa on top, with some extra spice,
Lots of extra spice.

Quoted from V_piscopo:

Was it used as a credit button because the dmd was out and they could not set to free play?

That is a good possibility. The previous owner replaced the dmd. The doorbell wasn't hooked to anything and I couldn't see any crazy wiring jobs so it was the first thing I ripped out. I am still having troubles with the dmd, hopefully the updated power wiring harness coming will fix that.

This title has never been on my list but it was on my way home from a 12 hour road trip, the price was right, playfield has no wear or planking and will clean up nice, backglass has a little flaking (unusual for Bally’s of this vintage) and a near perfect coin door. Added bonus is that it came from Kentucky and meter shows 14,699 plays. Owner says it hadn’t been played in nearly 20 years. And yes, it did come with legs.

Nice pickup. That's really clean inside and out.

Do you have pinblades in your garage?

Hokus Pokus is an awesome game...You can nail all three of those spinners over and over again. I sold mine and shipped it to another Pinsider over in Germany two years ago, and should’ve never gotten rid of it. Nice grab.

I’ll be happy to take it when you’re done with it.

Haha. My wife liked that comment. She is a artist and paints murals and does stained glass mosaics. We have “blades” on all sides of the cabinet

I think with that last mural she was telling you to buy an MM or MMr, a Hurricane and a Black Rose. At least that’s the way I’m interpreting it.

I’d like to have an MM or MMr but I need a rich uncle to bestow me. What was not in the first picture is a rocket ship from Tomorrowland. I had her put the “FG” on it for Flash Gordon

Been collecting for 30 years, and picked up the oldest three pins I've ever seen last week.

1935 Mills Cannon Fire
1936 Jennings Daily Limit
1936 Jennings Flicker

I think the cannon fire is the first pinball to use a solenoid. The latter two actually payout. Pretty cool stuff. They are a bit rough, but what do you expect. The cannon fire is missing the coin door, if anyone has one I would be in the market. Or if you can make one.

Plus a nice 1950 Gottlieb Select a Card that I forgot to get pictures of.

Its a little known secret that you can haul a pin in a Volt. I once got an early Williams solid state in mine.

Not at all. Great grab for a great price. In one of the other threads somebody said that it needed a little bit of work. My comment was more referring to your statement that you had no plans on buying another one “anytime soon”. As I’ve posted before...

I’m a little nervous about it to be honest. It’s a non working system 8. I’m doing good just keeping my HS2 up and going as it is.

You’ll probably be seeing a new thread soon asking for help.

Well, transport dropped this off at the driveway for me today! Cracked the wrap off a bit to get a baby sneak peek. Bought it sight unseen from pics and the sellers word. I’ll put it together tonight and check it out fully!!
I’m sitting here at work now.......waiting.........crap!

Maybe a bit too red for me, might have to swap those out. My second System 11, side by each now. Looks like some repairs to do, lower back glass lights not operational, good thing I’m handy, then, about a 5-10 hour tear down and shop job needed.
