Flame-polish it! I watched some videos, that made me confident enough to try it myself. I did my subway first, learned what to do, and not to do for the upper ramp. The result was awesome!
Quoted from dmbjunky:Kind of off topic but has there been any kind of mod to the bottom of a machine so you can slide it in and out of a car and not mess up the bottom of the cab. I'm thinking metal L channel.
I just use large pieces of cardboard on top of each other. I can slide games in and out pretty easily.
[edit]: The large moving boxes that lowe's and home depot carry are sturdy enough to be used several times over--one store or the other tends to have them for about $1.35 each depending on when they shuffle up their pricing.

the EM was a back breaker to get out of a basementP9010001.jpg
Saw that on CL. Was a great deal for anyone with the room. Nice haul!

Wish I were closer... I've been looking for a while. Shuffle Bowlers and BBB's dont seem to make it west of the Mississippi.

Dude, perfect! I wish one would pull me over
Well it's not home yet, but I won a really nice Bally Hang Glider last night in the 1984 Arcade Win a Pin pinball league!! The game is in very good condition and plays great. I plan to do a few touch-ups on the playfield and clear coat it, and then repaint the cabinet. It will be a fun project.

Awesome! Was that a drawing or did you win the tournament?
Quoted from TxJay:Awesome! Was that a drawing or did you win the tournament?
It was a drawing to make it fair for everyone, not just the really good players. You had to participate in 6 of the 8 league nights to be eligible for the drawing. You also had to be present to win. We each paid $4.00 every league night and you could earn extra entries during league play by earning the most points for the night and also extra for finishing in the top 4 of the league tournament. It was an awesome promotion and my lucky night! Thanks to 1984 Arcade and pinball_eugene for running the league.

That's great! The guys at 1984 are some of the best. I try to go there whenever I am in Springfield. Usually twice a month on average.
Quoted from dmbjunky:What was the deal with that guy? I assume that was the ad on CL. Tell the story. Please
Very smooth transaction. Very nice people.. Nothing bad to say at all.. Went picked it up and came home.. Kind of a late night though..

Yeah they are great guys. Have you been to Meta Games Unlimited when your in Springfield? Me, my brother - GOV, a friend - JDOZ2, and my dad have some games on location there. We currently have 7 games with more coming in the next month or two. You can't see the games when you walk in the store, they are in the back of the game playing area. I hope you check it out. Nice saw that one on CL...
Completed just under 600 miles yesterday as I made my way to the great state of Indiana. Picked up these two gems and met two great Pinsiders, Kevin (KMS Pinball) and Matt (BillySastard). Both are stand up guys and sure we could have talked pinball for an hour or two, but I had deadlines. Don't hesitate to deal with either of these two as they are both great sellers.
Quoted from Pdxmonkey:Nice
You found the naked lady on Pharoah?
There's a lot more than one....I never found them all
Quoted from john32:got these two in..

what does the AC/DC look like
Quoted from dmbjunky:What do those buttons on the lockdown bar do on Riverboat Gambler?
It has a roulette wheel in the backglass that actually spins at some points in the game. You use the lockbar buttons to place your color bet when that happens. Kinda cool. The text on the buttons is faded so I'll get those replaced once I find a set.

Good luck in your search for the buttons.
Those can't be found anywhere.

Yeah, at least the red and pass buttons are good it's just the green and black buttons that have the text totally faded. I did manage to find a replacement green button and ordered it, now to find the black one...
