A spectacular, all-original 1971 Bally Expressway accompanied me home from Pinfest this evening. So when I got onto the PA Expressway en route from Allentown to southern New Jersey, an Expressway was on an Expressway. There, I said it.

Thanks to Pinball-Pat for parting with one of my all time favorites. 2nd time owning this classic game and this time it's staying. Lots of parts included to turn this into a gem. Also grabbed a nice Golden Tee complete on the same trip. Sore back today but totally worth it!!
Long day Saturday capped off with a better Bally Dixieland zipper flipper single player game. Started the day on the road at 5am for a four hour drive to the VFW show. Played a crap load of games then stopped back for a quick visit with my parents. Arrived in Columbus at 11 pm to do the pickup and finally home and unloaded by 2:20 am.
Quoted from Puffdanny:Brought home this amazing machine today and saved southeast Michigan from 2 more years of this piece of shit being relisted every other day
Thank God!!! It's been on there for years I think.

My nephew wants to retheme it to the butt pirates of the caribbean and add a fidget spinner in the middle
Got this "Super Pac-Man" themed VERTIGO from shakenbake and am having a blast with the various FX3 tables and retro goodness!
Sweet, I'm working on my second Flip Flop now. I had one earlier this year from a fellow pinhead but he wanted it back. It's a quirky fun game. Your playfield looks really nice.
Quoted from V_piscopo:Finally got a chance to work on the project I've been dying to get to...,..maybe the nicest EM playfield I have ever seen. Sat in the same camp (near water) since 1977. Jones plugs and leafs have corrosion, but I think it will clean up nice. Now if only I can sorce a BG that does it justice...,.,..,.?

Try Mayfair Amusements to see if they have a nos copy. If they don't have one you can order a repro from bgresto.
Quoted from bloodonthepins:Brought my first pin home this weekend! Kind of crazy to be able to play some pinball at home. Loving Sky Jump. Thinking of doing a paint job on the cabinet at some point, but for now, let's play!
Soon you’ll realize that it’s crazy to just have one pin at home when you can have so many more! Great choice on your first pin. When you get ready to restencil your cabinet make sure to use Pinball Pimp stencils.

Man. Of course there's a resource for that. I'm constantly amazed by this community. Thanks a lot for the link!

If you slide your China cymbal and drum kit a little bit more to the left you could fit another machine there.
Quoted from weaverj:you can probably see that thing from space.
No kidding. Pull those LED's & put incandescent bulbs back in.

Or just leave it alone if that’s how you like it since it’s your game. But whatever.
Quoted from Clytor:I was home from Pinfest for about 2 hours then had to go scoop this.
I’ve been looking for a cyclopes for a very long time. Awesome pickup. If you ever decide to sell it, please pm me!

Good eye! It's bad enough that my pin is completely hiding my drum kit, I have to find another place to convert into a game room. The kit is cornered!
Quoted from V_piscopo:Scored this Bally escape from the lost world today. Third pin this week!
Great score! I think that might be the same one I was going to look at. Couldn't pull the trigger as we just bought a house. PF looks awesome!

It was a pleasure! I got her up and running, now you can make it shine. Thanks for a nice and easy transaction. Nice meeting you, and great to deal with.

Thanks! It's in pretty good shape.didnt need much work. Got a good deal on it too! Congrats on the house.hopefully it will have a game room?

Yeah, I had to move my kit out into the garage. I could fit 4 pins where this was. And I have two Chinas I can tell you my neighbors are not big Slipknot fans.

My toys are guitars, and my neighbors don't like Slipknot or Pantera

Yeah we will have a decent game room big enough to fit a few pins and an arcade game. There have been some great deals going around lately such as that DE Star Trek for about 1k. Normally I have to travel out of state to get pins.
Here is my latest pickup. A non-working project but the price was right. Unfortunately, the balligator mech in it entirety was removed at some point. They even removed the 2nd flipper button and filled in the cabinet. Playfield has next to no wear and should clean up nicely. BG looks perfect. Side of head has cracking in paint and right side cabinet has wear with fair touch ups.

Cyclopes!! That is fantastic...not an easy game to come by. I've only seen two or three of them in person. Awesome backglass. Great pick up.
I brought this BSD back from Pinfest Sunday. The colors on the cabinet are unfaded, very few dings, really nice playfield, but it needs a shop job and small fixes. I couldn’t pass up the deal.

Awesome grab, not that I'm biased. Cab does look nice.
If you want one of the tombstone mods, I should have them within a week and will have a few extras. Let me know and I'll save one for you. Not sure if you've seen it before, but here's the one on my game.
Quoted from weaverj:the only BSD i saw at pinfest was the one in the indoor flea market that had a sold sticker on it. what the hell?
Yeah, there were at least three or four of them at the show last year.

Indoor flea market vendor advertised on Facebook Wednesday, working but unshopped. Two flea market vendors asked about it within an hour. I offered a non-refundable $200 Paypal Friends and family deposit via pm and provided a reference of another collector whom he had known for years. I bought the game at the beginning of set up on Thursday.
The other BSD was more expensive, didn’t work and didn’t have a translite.
Well it wasn't today, but I finally get to post in this thread! My friend Lee (Cdnpinballer) and I brought some games home from Pinfest. We had a great time and met some great people down there!
I bought the Firepower from the flea market. Still chasing some system 6 gremlins, and I found a burned up/ melted coil...but its "mostly working" lol
Nice to bring some more classics back to Canada! After an 8 hour drive we were thirsty!

Cool! Any delays at the border?
I bought this from a collector in NY. This Paragon and Haunted House were childhood favorites. I already have a Paragon project ready to restore. The Black Hole has a heavily flaking inner backglass but Shay Arcade Group will start making them soon.

I’m sure they had their “alternative truths” receipts ready for the customs agents
