Quoted from J85M:Finally restored some of my favourite Sterns back into my collection, that I was forced to sell a few years back, thanks to my lovely ex!
Nice choice of games! It's a shame you were forced to sell them before but no doubt you will ne playing non stop now and enjoying them!
Any pics of them all set up?
Quoted from Bendit:Woohoo!
Enjoy, looks like a nice one . I searched over 5 months to get one and had to overpay to get it in the end for a nice one but as a Simpsons and pinball fan it was a must have for me.
A colordmd or pin2dmd is really great for this machine by the way
I know, everyone hates it. I found this game about two years ago on location and had no expectations of it one way or another. I really had a good time playing it. This came as part of a trade and I still really like it. My wife loves it and has renewed her interest in pinball. This may work in my favor...

Hey who cares, everyone doesn't like one or another game that's ever been produced. Enjoy your game and forget what others think.

Sleeper! Love it! Go ahead and let them hate it, keeps the prices down
Quoted from NightMutilator:Never thought I'd have a Diner but couldn't pass up this beaut!
Does look nice...an often underrated and overlooked game due to the theme. Actually quite a blast to play, and can last if you have a lineup of more than 4 or 5 pins with choices. Congrats!!

Congrats!! Back to the status quo...
Quoted from PoBoyPinball:Wow very nice looking game
Yeah, what he said! Nice pickup.

Cool, I also picked one up a couple weeks ago. Looks like it has almost no plays on it, but of course a previous owner didn't bother to change the batteries. So the board is out for repair and I haven't even gotten to play it yet. I did start putting in some LEDs and evicted the troll, hate the troll!!! Initially considered a ghost, but it didn't fit, so now the ghost is above the "Flying Ghost" track. Not big on extra toys, so we'll see if he gets to stay. Currently have a "Fisher Price Little People" farmer kid in there, not bad. He's got the appropriate expression and is a perfect fit. Will keep looking for something better, suggestions are welcome.

It's not Royal Rumble because that cabinet is solid black along the back. This cabinet is blue down near the corner.

In the wrong thread for this. Move on.
Quoted from Colsond3:Yes!! When you get a delivery from Shay, it's like bringing home a new game
The BG's Gottlieb produced simply were the best ever made. My Circus and Star Race are fabulous! Did you check with mayfairamusement Colsond3? They carry a lot of NOS BG's rather than repro. Wish someone would do the mirror repro's. I want one for my Circus.

I did check with Mayfair at Pinfest last year, said he didn't have any but he would check. Didn't hear back. Mine was shot with a ton of spot flaking, and this game is next up for the resto block after I finish Vamp, which is just about done. Shay only had two left when I asked him about a month or two ago, so I wanted to grab one while I could. The art on this game is too excellent not to have a minty BG.
I too wish someone would do the mirrored BG's, but apparently it's pricy and a somewhat arduous process, or hard to replicate. Funny hearing someone say that something done in the 70's and 80's is "hard to replicate" these days.

AGREED! Maybe start a name this "Mystery pin" thread, but personally I am never a fan of the guess this pin sort of post in this thread. My 2 cents.
Quoted from dasvis:Stunning artwork.
Yeah, the artwork content and condition of this backglass were what sold me on this one.
I recently bought a Motordome. Long story short I got at a good price but put FAR too much time in for the price I sold it for a few weeks later.
New pin connectors as needed on the MPU, Serviced the power board. Fixed sound issue. Totally depopulated the PF and ultrasonically cleaned ever bit of the hardware. Fixed a GI Light issue. Buffed Mylar with headlight cleaner. Replaced a missing target. Cleaned the contacts in every switch. changed out a few diodes and replaced many switch caps. Re-Epoxyed a very large insert. Cleaned and waxed PF. Polished stainless parts. Cleaned and flame polished extensive ramp system. Rebuilt and added new rubbers.
A lot of work can make a poor looking game look so much better.
