Quoted from wamonkey:Picked up an Elektra, no legs, no keys so I had to drill out one lock. But it was a steal at $500.
I've always wanted an Elektra, but I've missed out on a couple and you just don't see them that often anymore. Almost had one two years ago, but when I went to look at it the whole underside of the playfield was rusted and the game was in pretty rough shape. Of course, the guy still wanted a pretty decent price for it, so I walked. Very nice grab though, and for an excellent price.

I was lucky this was in storage for a while, it is a project but the Gorgar i bought was worse and that one is almost done. With plexi on the playfield there is no wear, upper needs some touch up and the lower is pretty good otherwise it is clean, no hacks, just need a new mpu.
You never see Elektra anywhere really to buy or even play.
Quoted from dasvis:Nice pickup - I would have had that in my shop already, but the wife would have killed me...
My wife was so cool, i saw it on CL within minutes of it going up. When I bought Gorgar from this guy we talked about Elektra but it wasnt ready to sell as I think he was cleaning out storage units and hadn’t got to it. I reminded the guy I bought the other machine being and I was first so I got it.
Well, let’s just say I didn’t have permission to buy from the better half. But she recognized the deal and was cool with it.
My wife has always been cool with pinball but I am seriously out of space now.
Quoted from AlexF:Just got this Flip Flop from a friend yesterday. Pretty fun game.
Something about the Bally pins from that era does it for me.
Quoted from DngrWillRobinson:What is it with wives anyway?
I just moved a machine out which I've been restoring for a friend and she said "The room looks weird with a gap there".
Dropping it off at my friend's place and she says "I think you cold fit two in here".
I think she's an enabler...
Just traded my BM66 Premium for the SUPER LE! Couldn't bring myself to write a letter to a company and explain why I want one... So I waited haha A private collector in California was selling his entire collection this week and I snagged a few gems! Had 13 plays on it and is perfect! Just updated the code and I'm in love!
Quoted from twinmice:Not pinball but great haul!!
Fantastic haul there. That large cab was an awesome game with huge sound. Wish we could find that stuff here.
That BM66 is right up my alley! That Topper is Great! Would love to run across one of those up here! Very Cool!!

Nor should they have ever asked you. Congrats on the game and screw those letters begging to give them your money!
Quoted from jokerpoker:So nice more pix required
Done. I posted elsewhere, but here’s for this thread.

Wow that is in pretty damn good shape! Shouldn't be a lot to do to cab and head, how are the boards?

Amazing!!!
After stupidly passing on a nice Mr & Mrs Pacman at Allentown and a nicer X-Files recently, I thought 2017 would be the first year in many that I wouldn't bring home an addition to the collection. Couldn't let that happen, picked up this eleventh-hour T2 yesterday. Really, really dirty but the playfield is very nice and should clean up well. (Not my photo, NOT my toys!)
Picked this CC up last week. HUO still has the protective plastic on the side rails. Had to replace two switches but everything in beautiful condition.

Wow! Great find. Enjoy.
I picked up this nascar in a trade this week. It needs a little work but will be pretty nice when I’m finished. The garage won’t close and the trough won’t kick the ball out. I’m going to try to start trouble shooting it this weekend. I’ve been looking for one for a while actually. My 10 year old loves this game

The Y switch down in the garage is often very problematic in that game, or at least the actuator on the switch is. I've bought some from Little Shop of Games....I know he carries them.

Awesome. I’ll look into that. Thanks. It’s like it tries to drop when I start a game but it physically won’t go down. I haven’t opened it up yet. Hopefully it’s just something simple.

Hey son, play with this cute little bumble bee. When you get tired of that, hop up on this bench and blow up some robots.
Quoted from djreddog:Almost ready for launch.....
The cabinet paint looks really nice (what little shows of it in the pic) and almost has a high gloss look to it. Maybe the sun is shining on it ?

Are you interested in Selling one of your Trons? Love that game! Great catch!
Let me know if you are!
Cheers,

Not sure. Here are some prelim pics setup in the garage. Will have to wait until the weekend to get it in the basement. I’ll try and get some better pics.
I made a mistake and sold my beautiful condition Count Down 15 years ago..but the person i sold it back then called me when he was moving and asked if i want to buy i back....and i did. It's back in my collection for good now. Much too good of a drop target player to ever let go again. Thanks for sharing the extra pictures.

The girlfriend loves it, so it's a keeper here too!
My Dad bought this Jumping Jack in 2005 and was in pretty rough shape. The cabinet was painted electric blue and was quite the sight. We stripped it down, repainted it and is cosmetically looking pretty good. We never got the project finished, and was never playable. Well fast forward about 10 Year’s later... I brought it home to my place and cannot wait to go through it and play a 2 player game with my Dad.

Some great artwork and sound... I miss mine but the double your score shot really unbalances the game

Any boards, manuals or spares out there someone has? let me know.,
Nice!
I'm with you on Super Sprint!

Wait a minute...I know that jungle lord...and that basement ...from wtb CL ads spamming in three states!!!

Sorry for the late response RWH. The boards are all in great shape. The play field has some wear but not horrible for its age. I’ve got everything working now and looking forward to playing some Barracora! I’ve heard some good things about this one.

A PDF of the manual is available online. Just search for the name of the game and PDF.
