Quoted from ibuypinballs:Was also asked it I purchase bowling machines, replied yes until I saw it. Don't think the escalera could handle it.
that looks like A if you can move it you can have it deal! that would be a lot of work!
That's freaking awesome!! Always wanted my own alley. My parents looked at buying a house in the early 80s with 2 lanes in a similar setup. I was like 5 or 6 but remember my mom and the realator smoking heaters at the bar while I granny rolled a few balls down the lane.
Damn! Why didn't we buy that house?
Quoted from pinhacker71:Nib walking dead. A Hit so far.
You need to Colordmd that bad boy!
Today I picked up a Chicago Coin Hollywood. Game seems to be in pretty good condition. Seller said it had recently been repaired and worked great - yeah, sure it does. No GI, lots of scoring errors, etc. I really hope they didn't pay a whole lot to get it "fixed".
Dave
Man I loved those molding machines at the SA Zoo when I was a kid! I think they had recomissioned them a couple years back. They're selling them off now?
edit: nevermind, thought you had bought the machine! I get it now!

Hollywood's not too bad of a game. I had one
in a local pizza shop and it did okay, but I like
playing Sound Stage better..

I've had sound stage as well and I'd agree, it's the better game. Bought the Hollywood to set a friend up with his first game. When I asked him what he was looking for he said "something that would be fun and cheap". I think this will fit the bill.

I know what you mean. When I hear "it works great!" that means there are at least 5 things I'll have to fix. If I hear "everything works" that means at least 10!
A quick 22 hour round trip to pickup this one HUO since new less than 750 plays, the owners did not energy know that glass could come off.

Quoted from jmountjoy111:I picked up a pretty nice Demolition man today. I haven’t played this game in a couple of years but I remember it had tons and tons of awesome combos andthe ugliest picture of Sandra Bullock that was ever created lol.
Son playing a game in the background? Looks like he is into it

Lol. I didn’t even notice his face in the pic. He absolutely LOVES fish tales.
Quoted from Skyemont:I have owned the b/w Congo for 3 years. It's been completely tour down for 2 years. I have not had a chance to play it. I missed it so much, I got another one.
Very nice. Now sell me that MGOW glass...

That’s awesome. I love Congo. I’m not interest in the mgow glass but if you need me to come get the b/w Congo I have a ton of boxes I can load it up in
Quoted from remf:Moved in JP last night and got it all dialed in today. I'm really digging it so far.
Looks like that JP could use a LED ColorDMD !!

I just sold the pinball so the glass has to go with in.

Quoted from the96stang:I NEVER post in this thread, mainly because Id be posting far too much, but today, I make an exception for a very cool reason. Over the last 8 days I landed the final two system 11s Ive never owned. Ive owned all 30 at least once.
Wow! 2 totally different games; those will pair nicely for a while. Radical is one of the best. Pumped for you!

That is why I try and go for a lower offer on a pin. Lots of pins out there with the wording a simple fix. Dave I saw that one I think for $500.00 someone told me to pay no more than $300.00 for a Chicago Coin if it works and a $100.00 if it doesn't.
Quoted from Colsond3:Brought this one home a month or so ago, but just had a chance to set it up.
That's not the one player Orbit that Gary had? I see more problems with that game, maybe because it was the first one I ever played? Looks good any problems with it?
Quoted from Grayman_EM:That's not the one player Orbit that Gary had? I see more problems with that game, maybe because it was the first one I ever played? Looks good any problems with it?
One player? I did grab it from Gary when he was swinging down by the area. It is intermittently jumping the second and fourth player, but otherwise plays perfect. Might be the stepper unit. It's definitely a players game by the playfield and BG condition, but cab is really nice and it's a fun EM.
Winter project arrived...
Went to look at a Data East Secret device and saw this
It didn't work and the seller was good at letting it go as is..
We did a quick check and power gets to the boards so we decide to take a risk, the pf is dirty but other than that pretty mint aside from a couple broken plastics.
Cab is nice and everything is just dirty..and after getting home, I got it to boot up... has a few issues but yah, winter project, right? First WPC and first DMD pin for me... so hoping to learn a lot..
Curious minds can skim over the issues list here:

You saw the one I bought as it was listed for $500. Of course, I didn't pay that as there a few things wrong with the game which they hadn't noticed until I pointed them out. Nobody there could tell me what had recently been repaired either, which I find quite odd. I know not everyone is a pinball nerd but someone had to contact the repair person to have whatever they thought was wrong with the game fixed, right?
In general, I find the Chicago Coin games of this era to be "meh" (I really dislike the door-bell chimes) but I was able to get it for a decent price and it was literally 20 minutes from my house. I have a friend looking for his first game and he asked me to help him find something "cheap" and "fun". I think I hit the mark on the "cheap" side of the equation. We'll see if he finds it "fun".
Dave
Hey Trueno, Them boards look like they have some battery acid damage and a few other areas look pretty bad. I would rwach out to Doug (Menace) on pinball revolution and see if he has time to go over them boards. Thats where i would start.
Got this bad boy home last week. The seller did a perfect job in palletizing the pin. The pin is restored and all NOS (except for sidedecals). Really happy with the purchase.

Nice speakers.

Looks beautiful. I’ve never played the original cactus canyon. I’ve only played ccc. But continued was one of the coolest games I have ever played.
