i want a SM.
Quoted from spfxted:Finally set up....
That thing looks sweet Ted. I'll take it when you're done with it.
First solid state...and this one was apparently modified for HUO before leaving the factory. Cabinet is excellent with no fade, and everything is exceptionally clean.
And another game appearing to be HUO, in great condition. Receipt inside the coin box confirms HUO since at least 1995. Added LED's and some rubbers as soon as I got it home. An interesting title and not a game you see every day. Cabinet is in absolute excellent shape.
Then one more trip...in the same house for 42 years. And I don't think they cleaned it off much.

Interesting. Apparently only a few of these were made. http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=5092

Cool!
I ordered a bunch of stuff for it including:
Gory Eyeball Mod.
Titan Silicon Flipper Bands (Green)
Red Plunger Tip
Clear Button Protectors
LED Full Kit
Slow Fade LED for backglass behind TV
Bally Micro Switches
Remote Battery Holder
Undercab Lighting Kit

From what I've read and seen, there were a few more than just 2 or 3 of each title that left the factory like that. I think I can account for at least 4 distinct Rock On's configured for home use.

I wonder if the home models had serial numbers.

I would think so--it sound be enough to check.
@colsond3, is there a serial number on it? It should be on the back of the game in the upper left corner of the cabinet body near the neck.

I was already contacted by Jay at IPDB. He came across it in this thread, and told me it's actually quite rare. Force is right, just a few made of each game that left the factory this way. He asked about the serial number also, which I found near the right flipper button.
And this one definitely matches all the criteria on IPDB for the coinless HUO version. No coin slots or mechs, BG blacked out, no credit display, etc. Pretty damn cool that it's at least somewhat rare.

Spotted a pin on an estate sale. The place was a hoarders nightmare. The guys running the sale said it took them 2 days just to clear a path to the room.IMG_0014 (resized).JPG
I talked them down to a price I was happy with.
The pin is an argosy EM and looks to be in great shape. My guess is something broke and he started piling things on it 20-30 years ago and it's been sitting there ever since. The back glass is perfect and the PDF doesn't even show any ball trails.IMG_0016 (resized).JPG

Nice find!
Looks like it's in great shape!

Did you manage to keep a straight face, when paying and loading? You can always laugh all the way home

It came out of a coin op warehouse. He had tons of nice stuff. He had been in business for decades so I assumed that he knew his stuff. He asked for $1k and I just shook his hand. Didn’t even bother to haggle. He had an adams family that was buried behind a wall of video games that he was asking $4k for (more than I could spend).

Awesome. TOTAN for 1k, either way, is fantastical.
hmm, I can't tell if the white russian is above or below the glass... now I'm thirsty... good thing I have a couple fingers of Gentleman Jack sitting next to me.
The Bagatelle Express, a 7.5" steam punked live steamer, will have this and an equally nice Capt. Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy (of course taking up the rear) on flat beds for riders of all ages and orientations. Two seats behind each game will allow all ages and sorts of riders to enjoy a game or two of single or pairs play with a remove set of flipper buttons under the second seat for safety (no reaching allowed). ETA about 1-2 years, all aboard!

Wow! that's incredible. You would never get a deal like that in Australia.

When I played TBL I thought the same thing!! My peripheral vision kept focusing on the white Russian.... LOL

Way too cool!!! Love those custom vans. If I ever win me a lottery, forget the musclecar....I'll take a mid-70's Chevyvan with side pipes, waterbed, bubble windows, sunburst wheels and Frazetta "Death Dealer" mural.
Quoted from PinballManiac40:My June raffle prize from Pinball EDU Charity arrived today via Cointaker. No issues I can tell out of the box.
Congrats! How many tickets did you buy? I keep forgetting about the edu charity Crazy you can get a new pinball machine for as little as $40!
Quoted from steve-o:Grabbed two SS Bally projects pins last week. Looking forward to playing them after getting them up and running for the fist time this century.
