Nice! This pin is on the rise!
Quoted from Aflacjack:My new Black Rose
Wow! It does look like a "New" black rose.
AWESOME game.
Congratulations!
Quoted from sulli10:X men in da house. Beautiful extremely low play example. Know to learn the rules.
Congratulations. Xmen is a great game.
Nice lineup too!
Third time is the charm!
This is my third Indiana Jones and frankly the nicest one I've ever seen. It took a 36 hour round trip to bring this bad boy home. The search for an Indy with an excellent playfield is over!
One left but five came in, two last week and three more today. I've got to get faster at restoring these old pins.
I'm looking to add some more early SS pins and I couldn't pass up these early SS Williams Project Pins. Thanks to a great seller, Mark.
I don't see many of these listed for sale even though a lot of them and the four player version, Strato-Flite, were made. The playfield has been cleaned, touched up and clear coated with auto clear, and well done too, but the project was never completed. I hope to remedy that. Too bad the backglass is in such poor shape. This is another pin that I fondly remember playing 'back in the day.'
Quoted from UofG2000:Space Odyssey at a Garage Sale came home with me today. I said I wouldn't buy anymore EM's, oops.
Why can't I find garage sales like this
Quoted from grantopia:On my short list!
This game is so underrated. Cab is a little rough but playfield is extremely nice and plays fantastic. I'm not too far so if you get the itch to play shoot me a PM sometime.
Quoted from yzfguy:Damn... That space Odyssey backglass looks great! Mine is all flaky....
Mine was a little, touched up and sealed.
The red is really faded and the Ruushin capsule not in great shape but with some green LED not so bad.
Fun game, it is in our long term line up.

Ruushin capsule?
Just bought this from a fellow pinsider. Been wanting to try a more basic game, something cheap from the early 80s with a very simple layout and rule set just to see if it would have lasting power, and also to serve as a fun but not daunting project to learn on. Couldn't resist this one when it came up, I'm a sucker for those old Williams sounds. Has a few issues like a weak shooter, weak flipper, targets don't always trigger, etc but overall it's not bad.
Quoted from rkelley17:Nice GorillaBiscuits...love your lineup!
Thanks man! It’s been a fun journey to get here.
Going for time tested classics... and Star Wars haha. Once my TNA gets here I’m done for a LONG time. After a couple years I should be ready to mix in some system 11’s and EMs, but still greatly enjoying the cookie cutter phase of things

Judging by your collection I may have to take you up on that. I'll bring the beer?
I scored two true HUO Batman Dark Knights in two months. The one I picked up this weekend has only 88 plays on her. If that's not crazy enough the serial numbers are one after the other and built the same day. They both came from home owners and one was purchased from a magazine and the other from an dealer.

Those sequential serial numbers though!! So niiiice. I can deeply appreciate how awesome that is.
Sorta like my Dad's first bike, an old '47 knucklehead he had for many many years. His buddy loved it and hunted down his own Knuck, and it is EXACTLY 100 serial numbers after my Dad's! So neat when stuff like that happens
Quoted from spfxted:Now what are you going to do with TWO??
The one with 88 plays is on the trailer for the York show.

i was gonna say, "york!"
Quoted from Aladdin:Brought home a 1965 Williams Ski Club. BG has one small chip top center and PF looks really good. Bought from a very nice older couple.
Looks great! I like the older unknown pins that I have never seen. Should clean up great also.

Same- Love 60's Bally and Williams single player in particular.
Quoted from bek1966:Picked up a non-working Bally On Beam. Craigslist find for the right price - free!
Hey good for you I posted that on the board here. I hope it an easy fix. By the way wasn't that the one where they said it was a 220 from a 110 current?
@marke "I brought home a Pyramid ." Looks good I have not heard of that EM.

"Free" check out that coinless coin door fits the theme Free "free play". Nice find
Quoted from Ballypin:The cabinet and head are a Bally Op-Pop-Pop.
Thanks for the information, I was wondering what the they were.

I must have jumped on it right after it was listed on CL. The young guy was super nice. He mentioned that he had lots of emails and some with offers to pay. He said that I was the first to reply and that his Grandma didn't want anything for it. He seemed pretty happy when I told him it was a project for my daughter and me to work on. I know little to nothing about Bally games (or any other for that matter) but Heidi and I are going to give it a go!

He had 2 games, did you get the second one? I had emailed him as well pretty quick saying I could pickup asap; he never mentioned anything about being free. Glad someone got it, though, who will fix it up. Not upset or anything about you getting it, so if this message sounded that way; it was NOT the intention at all. Just surprised he ended up giving it away; and also wondering about the 2nd. I was more interested in the other one he had available. Nice grab! Hope it's a simple fix.
Quoted from aahgo:Different ads I think...
Yes, different ads. The free one was in Oak Park, IL.
Seems like there are a few of us interested in the games in Wisconsin. I'm mostly interested in the On Beam to combine with the free one to have a nicer one. I'd be willing to go in on the purchase if there is someone interested in the Rocket III and not the On Beam.

Weird that 2 On Beam's show up that close together in that close of time-frame. Yeah, Rocket 3 I had more interest in. If you're able to get both, let me know. I don't have the time currently to grab both, otherwise I would have already.

What?? I'm 7 hours away and would come to get the Rocket 3. No response yet from seller... may already be spoken for.
Expanding on the On Beam explosion, there are 2 for sale in Ohio right now.
