I picked this one up on Friday. I'm not much of an em guy so I don't know how long it will last. It cleaned up pretty well. I need to clean a stepper or two cause it won't go to game over after the fifth ball, just keeps playing lol. There's the reason I'm not much of an em guy lol.

I'm pretty sure I have that playfield as a wall hanger and I didn't know what game it was from.

You need some green t-mold for that backbox.

Thanks, yep... It's stock so I have lots of work to do does the traditional "t" molding work on these metal heads the same way? (Gripping in a channel) or is there a flat backed glue on type?

#6359 6 years ago

You need the Galaxy green t-mold. It comes of easily and will be on the machine without glue. You just have to remove the material in the corners but you will see what Stern did when you take it off, just copy that. I think it is about a 15 minute job, but great result!

Winter Project.

This was yesterday (Sunday), road trip for a wood rail. 1 pin and 9/10ths of a parts pin, actually both could be considered as a parts pin.

#6367 6 years ago
Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

Yay, I can finally post my exciting score!
This is my second pin that I've been hunting down for a while now! The first time I saw one of these and watched the gameplay I fell in love. What a perfect combination!
It took me hunting into a stale ad on Facebook many hours and miles away. The pictures were sparse and the price was too high. Luckily it hadn't sold and the gentleman was glad to finally move it out! We settled on a FANTSTIC price and I set out on an all day adventure.
This game also happens to be quite special, as this hails from the legendary FUNSPOT! I'm thrilled to be only the 2nd person to own it.
Yes, FunSpot means heavily routed... but surprisingly this game looks great and there wear is minimal. Playfield needs a good polishing but artwork is fantastic!!
Without further delay, here's my extremely HEAVY new Baby!

That cabinet is in fantastic shape. Wish mine looked like that. Nice score.

Gottlieb Jumping jack or the other, Jack in the Box.
Bally Frontier, YA! Good score!!!!
Williams Fan-Tas-Tic.

Were those from that estate sale I saw around Ohio, Michigan in craigslist?

Good score if they are.

Wow, didn't know you could put two side by side like that in a caravan, can a sienna do the same thing?

Pic above didn't show the heads on top with blankets inbetween. Yes two pins without heads attached will fit side by side easily. Can also fit two pins side by side if raise one up so the head of a game is above the PF of the other.

No games came from estate sales, both EM's came from MI. Games: Frontier (On Loan), Fan-tas-tic and Jumping Jack.

Load pic attached.

Rescued this today from A 10 year slumber in a shed(barn). Very dusty. I gave it a quick wipe from the right flipper to the speech ballon to see the art under the muck.

Boof-Ed are you saying those are your AA batteries in the pinball are yours? The seller remembered to take them out before they damaged the pin with acid?

#6382 6 years ago

They are my problem now. When I asked if the batteries were removed before the hibernation I got "batteries? What batteries? It plugs in the wall. " I had my answer to my question right there.

Curious if Duracell would follow through on their no leakage warranty on this one

It's been a long hot summer without any new pins. But the drought was broken this afternoon. I really like these late model EMs. They weren't on route for long and the manufacturers were at the top of their EM game when they made them. Many thanks to @Leef! Everything about this pin is really nice except for the cabinet - now looking for two pinball cabinets.

I believe I read about one pinsider a while back getting duracell or one of the other battery manufacturers to make good on their no leak warranty. I believe a quick search of pinside would probably find you that information. It'd definitely be worth a try, that's for sure.

Almost had a Magic City a few months ago- I was signed up for an Ebay live auction and had made an initial bid and for some reason my account became "unapproved for bidding" during the last 5 minutes of auction.

I was pissed off, phone calls were made, promises of investigation of the matter.. and nothing. No surprise. I'm sure the item is sitting over a friends of the auction dealer.

Great first Pin. It was my favourite as a kid and still is. I think you might find opening the flood gates will bring more than one pin and once you have two they breed.

I got 3 pins on Monday. Not as good as some of other pins I have seen recently on this thread.

The value of the pins isn't important, the fact that you like them and will enjoy them is

Believe me, I have way more respect for your collection than almost all of the cookie cutter collections (MMr, CV, TZ, DI, etc etc). Those pins all look like a blast!

Yeah, it's funny, many of the coveted pins do little to move me. I am definitely envious of AFM owners though

I love my Sharpshooter. Not even on the radar by almost everyone here, but it is the pin by which I judge others. If it makes you happy then it's worth the money.

These will add something different for sure. I will never buy remakes but i do own some William/Bally pins from the 90's. Oh, Negan scares me..
