Picked up this 1952 Queen of Hearts.

Happy to see she's being saved..

Got a Space Station today, also met a new friend!

A true friend wouldn't have let you haul a game like that

Third Flash I've bought. Guy plugged it in and said, "the pinners don't work".

Did anyone here snag a really nice condition Laser Cue in NJ last week? Would have looked great next to my Sorcerer but I missed it by a day and now I'm really regretting it, wanted to see photos so I could see if it was as nice as the seller described.

My sickness started with pinbot and now he is back!! Filthy dirty and in need of a deep cleaning. Also came with another fully population playfield.

Quoted from sd_jameson:

Well, the <$100 finds still exist, but I have my work cut out for me! Not to mention the fact that it was in the back of what I can only surmise to be an old milk truck turned meth lab; my most bizarre machine pickup yet... But hey, I like to buy them this way, it makes bringing them back to life all the more gratifying. Plus, it was only a 15 minute drive. The good news is that I'm pretty good with a circular saw and cabinet work is my favorite! The pics of the new head are of one I'm building for a friends Flash.
Below is what an $83 Gorgar looks like.

I thought I was on the Pinball horror pics thread for a second .
Nice Gorgar , Nice job on the headbox , you have guts for talking that on .
I Didn't bring a whole machine home , just 4 boxes full of ex pinballs

More filth and grime, a few parts I just picked up : )

Parts haul , Stripped games , mostly Early Williams and Stern some Bally stuff too .
I also found some Steel Stencils with the haul .

By the way which ones are they?

Without the heads I cannot identify them.

Nice pickup, are there any problems with them or just have to put them together?

Wish I could find some deals, but most are far away from me. Indiana is somewhat dry for EM's.

What would the metal stencils been used for? Coin Mechs?

#6215 6 years ago

North Star and Flipper Fair

What a find! They are both great players too.
Don't forget to put some more pictures of these beauty's under Show us you EM's thread.

#6216 6 years ago
Quoted from Mopar:

I had this machine in the making for a few months now, and today
finally completed the deal..
I'm sure one won't have one like this (very cool if one did) but even anyone
with the Italian version I would like to hear from..
I like those true 2 player Gottlieb 60s Add-a-Balls.. (T)

Was this named after the 'Hyde Park' part of Chicago????

The rubbers don't look too bad. Had the machines come from
a collector, or actually a mild find in the wild?

I setup the machines and put some "before" pics on the Show us your EMs thread. There don't seem to be any problems that cleaning and adjusting won't fix, they fire up and you can play a game. They seem to be complete except for coin mechs (don't really care), Coin boxes, and schematics. Looking forward to going thru them.

These were from a collector but he said he doesn't go online, I'm not sure how long they have been sitting.

Don't find these in NY it seems.
This reminds me of that infamous "Heart of Darkness" post. Complete with methlab-esque scene!

Especially with that topper!

Not to sure , probably game control buttons , they don't look like they have been used , no sign of any paint on them , unless they used inks , and have cleaned them up before the next use .

Wasn't as nice as that one though!

Gottlieb royal flush deluxe!!!! Cost 100 bucks but needs a few new boards. And definitely some rubbers!!!!

Any idea what these go for? Can only find prices on the em version of the game.

The finished ads on Pinside show that it was listed by two different sellers at $600 each, but both sellers sold their pins elsewhere. This is one of the Gottlieb 80 pins with their grounding problems, but still doesn't come up for sale very often. I'd say fix it, including adding grounding mods, and try to sell it for $800.

Where was the grounding problems? I bought a rottendog mpu for it. Also, is rottendog mpu compatible with a gulf pinball power supply board?

Just research system 80 ground mods. It's really no big deal to do. Takes about an hour or two and $10 worth of stuff. The game just doesn't have a good ground circuit from the factory. That's all system 80 not just yours

#6232 6 years ago

None of the boards are grounded, which will cause issues given time. Start with the pinwiki system 80 section and go through and perform the recommend ground mods. Even with the aftermarket boards you will still need to do this, as well as replace the orange caps in the bottom of the cab if they have not already been done.

It must be raining Royal Flush Deluxes, I picked one up last Friday.

As for value, I would say around $600 in decent condition fully working.

#6233 6 years ago

Does Pascal make boards for that game? I've heard great things about his kits. http://www.flippp.fr/boards.php?lg=en

I love this thread as everyone on here knows that honeymoon feeling and this thread brings it back for me just seeing these new to you machines. Almost makes me want run out and get another one now. Congrats to all the new owners of their machines.

Haha! So true, I was talking to a non-pinhead today who told me I should rent a storage spot. I told him it'd be like a Mistress and I'd never be home.

I know that piece of cardboard . And thanks to Wildbill and him helping me make room, I was able to bring this baby home tonight.

Custom topper, mirror side blades and color end.
Had to pull the batteries. And it was time, they just started to leak.
