Andromeda! I saw pictures of it, and it looked super mint. Good score!

Thanks. I am happy to have this one in the collection. Played it a little over 4 years ago for the first time and have been quietly hunting. Then played the secret one in CO and got some solid time on it and realized the game play was every bot as good as the art.

Then about crapped myself in frustration once I saw it was in Pinburgh finals this year and figured I would toss in the towel on ever grabbing one.

Low and behold one just showed up and I tossed out a fair albeit higher number to ensure I could grab it.

Looking forward to setting it up and getting it 100% later this week.

2012 forrester. It will fit every type of game, including a NIB Stern with 1/8 inch to spare (just dont slam the hatch and bust your glass; I have not done that but know someone that did)

Well, the <$100 finds still exist, but I have my work cut out for me! Not to mention the fact that it was in the back of what I can only surmise to be an old milk truck turned meth lab; my most bizarre machine pickup yet... But hey, I like to buy them this way, it makes bringing them back to life all the more gratifying. Plus, it was only a 15 minute drive. The good news is that I'm pretty good with a circular saw and cabinet work is my favorite! The pics of the new head are of one I'm building for a friends Flash.

Below is what an $83 Gorgar looks like.

Just have to ask how did the price come out to be $83 bucks.

Quoted from PoBoyPinball:

Ya know I wondered the same thing, didn't bother haggling and didn't bother asking any questions. I don't know if the guy was on his trip still or what but when I gave him the money he asked "is that how much I put it up for? Okay." He had put the ad up like 12 hours before. Then he laughed. Then I nervously laughed. The whole thing was pretty uncomfortable. I'd be happy to share my encounter with listening ears!

#6178 6 years ago

That's a great story. I once looked at a EM that I was to uncomfortable to make an offer as I was by myself and the seller wasn't and I felt like a may have gotten jumped so I gracefully backed away after taking a quick look at the game. Same type seller seemed like they had some other things going on and didn't feel to safe in that environment.

Congrats on Gorgar looks like you have the skills to bring it back from dead

I saw that ad and would have jumped on it if it was just a hair closer to me and I didn't have work. Glad a pinsider snagged it!

I had a very sketchy experience when I picked up my TSPP years ago. I'll spare you most of the creepy details but leave you with this. He had a parrot in his bedroom and the thing kept calling out his name... Rob ... Rob.... Rob... I literally burned my tires getting out of his driveway.

I had this machine in the making for a few months now, and today
finally completed the deal..
I'm sure one won't have one like this (very cool if one did) but even anyone
with the Italian version I would like to hear from..
I like those true 2 player Gottlieb 60s Add-a-Balls.. (T)

Picked up this 1952 Queen of Hearts. Mostly complete but will need a lot of TLC. If anyone has a line on a better playfield, please EM me.
