Quoted from Colsond3:Looks squeaky clean. Nice grab...shooter lane looks barely used. And a fun game.
Thanks. It's not been cleaned up yet. The owner never did anything to it. Still has the original rubber rings, bulbs and batteries. Pulled the batteries out and luckily they didn't leak. Not even alkalines, just carbon zinc cells. I threw them in the coin box to bring it home.

Nice pick up! Looks great.

Friend of a friend. Wasn't even looking for this one.

I wish I could forget sometimes. My bank account would be a lot more fluffier, and I would have a lot more free time. LOL

already the grand champion.
need to fix the gd cointaker led kit. any pointers, pm me, please.
Two nice pins...love me some MM and CV. Let me know what you want to do with the LEDs. I can help you out. Maybe add some purple...JK
the purple is fine, but do i do the whole thing in purple? i don't really see any spots to mix it up. maybe a little green around the castle, i guess.
Quoted from Colsond3:Posted last week that I picked this up for the hell of it. Cleaning it up a little, I can't believe that this thing has an actual screened backglass in it. Does the Fireball home game?
Yes and so does EK. I would imagine Galaxy Ranger does too.
Drove 2 1/2 hours yesterday to pick up this one. Very happy with the purchase. Looks like it only needs a monitor cap kit and the seat slide locking assembly needs some tending to before I move it into the game room.
Unloading it by myself was a whole lot of fun as it's crazy heavy.
Unfortunately it's going to fill the slot where i was hoping to put a Diner into.
Kids were VERY happy when they saw it.

Good to know. Sadly I've come across quite a few of these home version games that were totally trashed, and passed on them given that fact. Next time, I'll grab them even if the backglass is salvageable.

Unloaded it by yourself?? Looks like a beast....
Im sure the kids cant wait to try it!

Yep!
Unloaded it, stood it up, fixed up a few things and placed it in it's new home. Well, hopefully temporary home until I can convince the wife that they really don't need an exercise room! I think it would work much better as the "south wing", pinball only room!
Converted it to all LED bulbs including the marquee lighting. Repaired the seat locking mechanism, adjusted the monitor best I could. Will have to replace some of the chassis caps for sure, if not all of them.

Actually that's a Bally Ball Bowler, and looks to be in very
nice shape. 2" vinyl numbers (1 - 10) on those pins really
would spice them up..
You lucky dog Skyemont! Those are the two next games I'm waiting for!!! Hurry up and post some video of DI

You're correct. 1957 Bally ABC Bowling lanes w/ 3" ball. I have done a lot to it to get it to this point. 100% working now. (w/ thanks to someone for providing a new light socket to help finish off the visuals.)
The pins are numbered. That pic doesn't show them very well though. Two of the originals are cracked so I am trying to decide of I should fix them or try and locate a whole new set.
NEW PLEXI SHIELD MADE AND INSTALLED
Quoted from nascarrey:Nice set up you have there! Always loved the shuffle bowlers......
Thanks!
EDIT: I just realized that profile view doesn't have the slot machine in the back right corner that I added since than. I'll have to get a couple of updated shots.
Quoted from catalina:I am trying to decide of I should fix them
Oh, those are original pins. I fixed pins and other items with Clear Seal by
Liquid Nails. It comes in a tooth paste like tube and it's a great adhesive
that remains flexible. A rather thin coat on the backside of the pins will do
the trick. Wal-Mart carries it..
Your Bowler looks to be a 14 footer and has 2 (the black ones) original
balls. Those Ballys are responsive and once fully gone through, they're
for the most part, trouble free..

Here is a good example of one I just picked up yesterday, and at a very good price.....I just have to figure out why it won't boot up now.

Seems like a fun pin that doesn't get a lot of mention. I need to figure out why mine won't start a game as well.

I really like the look of that machine. Nice find.
Picked up these two babies today, Went out for Trident and Quicksilver was a bonus find so bought it there and then on the spot.

That has to be one of the most colorful games ever. Looks like it's in great shape. Now get fixin!!!

Two cool games. I had a Trident so long ago...very fun, should have never sold it (but I can say that about practically every game I've sold). Some people don't like no outlane on the left, but I love it. I remember I could really get the ball flying on that pin, which isn't always possible on an older SS game. Thanks...now you made me want one again.

Did you have to go down stairs with it? I have to move mine and am considering taking the monitor out to move it. I think that will cut a ton of the weight, that and moving the seat separate, that thing weighs more than it looks!

I actually went out for the Trident and Hot Hand and spotted Quicksilver, my opinion both underated games, so needless to say Hot Hand got left behind, Playfields on both have wear but not excessive, Quicksilver already up and running, Trident still needs some work, but overall in good condition for a Trident, future plans to have both playfields touched up, inserts fixed (cupped) and both clearcoated. Not many of these two particular Stern titles left these days. Go on and find a Trident to save, most of them are nearly all shot these days and need saving.
Quoted from simplykind:Somehow ended up with this one today
Looks like it is in great condition!
It was a major bonus because over here in Australia Quicksilver "NEVER" comes up for sale, the guy I purchased it from had only just traded it in so super excited when I spotted it and even more excited when he told me what he wanted for it (but still trying not to look that interested). Double score.
Quoted from dmieczko:Good haul today!
Pretty sure that's in the territory of AMAZING haul.

Is there a polite way to say screw you and your "good haul" without seeming to jelous?
