Quoted from whthrs166:Found these two at a garage sale today $500 each The Sonic (Sega) Mars Trek is in HUO condition! Bought it from the original owners The Stern Stars just had a few small scratches Tommorrow I get to clean em up and shop em out! Cant Wait!
That is such a great find. Wish we could find those types of mint games here.
Well done. More pix when you have them up to your liking please. That Mars Trek looks amazing.
Ok spent the day with the Sonic Mars Trek that I picked up at the garage sale for $500. Here are a few pics of the find.
This game is in the best condition of any EM I have ever seen. The pf looks to be clear coated from the factory. ( I read that Sonic clear coated their pf s ) This thing is extremely clean inside and out.

Man that is one nice looking game for $499.25 (I see that 75 cents in the coin tray). Seriously nice find
Quoted from jsyjay:Not pinball but a 4 player Simpsons in need of a bit of love
AWESOME! You will love it. I had this when I had the big collection. Hated to sell it but did. Was by far the most popular during parties out of all the games.

Scared Stiff is such a great game.
Any other mods besides the colour screen and eyeball shooter?

speaker kit and a backbox exhaust fan. never seen one before. skull pile? there's some alligator clips coming out of there. this game needs led's so bad.
oh, it's signed, too; nordman and freres.
Quoted from gdonovan:Klondike
I am doing the Williams Gold Rush. Interesting the side art is the same graphic but the colors are different. The backround color (blue) is the same. Different backglass. Different playfield.

Nice! I would love to have their signatures!
They are usually a little dark but will really lighten up with some LEDs and it will look a million times better!

Nice looking pin. Klondike is the first pin that I remember playing on location as a kid, fun game & I could actually win credits on it!

Sadly it will be a few more weeks before I can get to it, working on 4 pins now simultaneously!
Grand Tour is stalled till the playfield is re-cleared, Lucky Hand got sold and I have to finish installing elastics, new plastics and setting it up for free play for the new owner, might have Heatwave stenciled this weekend and finishing up the last of the mechanical issues on Moon Shot and it needs minor cosmetic touchups.
So no playing with Klondike... though I did look at it quick. It does power up and resets but has some reset issues. Acts like there isn't enough voltage to operate the ball kicker or has a very week coil. Looking under the hood I see some monkey has been in there so I'm going to have to go over it contact by contact and make sure everything is set as it left the factory first..
Quoted from jkashani:This rare bird followed me home from A-Town. Thanks to Gnatty for a great transaction.
I really like the coin insert plastics. Nice idea!
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Nice Corvette. Your lower left GI is out. Time to check for a burnt J120, J121, or J115 connector.
It was J115
Quoted from McPin54:Oops. It happened again
wow, if you ever part out that Mr. & Mrs. Pac-Man let me know.
There are so many great pins finding new homes in the last few pages that I'm starting to get very jealous!
Indy looks mint!

Agreed, Its hard enough finding parts over here resonably priced let alone complete machines at decent prices. So very jelous as well.
-IJ, the best game Williams ever put out. That's a nice example, where did you snatch that one up at?
Quoted from ecto1a2003:wow, if you ever part out that Mr. & Mrs. Pac-Man let me know.
I have had a few of these. This one is the nicest one I've ever come across. Once it's 100% I'll probably put up for sale.
Thanks
Quoted from timtim:damn mcpin54 what a haul
Thanks. Was on the road all day. Didn't get to bed till 3 am but was well worth it!

Thanks!!! Local collector. Wanted to get it a month or so ago. He wasn't ready to sell. Got the text this week that he changed his mind. Picked it up today.
Crazy thing is. Out of the 20+ games or so he had. Indy was prob middle-of-the-pack in terms of uniqueness and condition. And it's dead mint. Some of his games had custom colored playfields! Just insane stuff.
Didnt have time to take a picture whilst in the Wrangler (four door) as my help had other places to be. Had to pull the upper cabinet off (wish there was a wire connector/junction between the upper/lower cabinet!) to get it out of the basement but at least it was easier than when I had to do the same thing with an Indiana Jones. . .
Amazing thing is I posted a Want Ad here on Pinside for the same machine and not two days later I get a call from the friend of a coworker who knows I like the pinball. . . "So and so gave me your phone number and thought Id see if you had any interest in this machine before I put it on Craigslist. . . " Home use only for the last 15 years, in great condition but very dirty and needs shopped.

Tough pin to find. The backglass art on that is really stunning, the sound package would drive me nuts though...

Nice... let me know when you want to sell it!

pinballholder Can you post some pictures to the game section of the site? There is only one picture now. Also any rule set information that you can add. Great rare find! Congratulations.
John

Sonic made their PFs out of Formica. So they are pretty much a cured resin surface. They basically last forever and always look new. Super smart.
Quoted from Schusler:Nice... let me know when you want to sell it!
I'm already 3 dibs deep on it
