Hey Pinsiders, the twoer pop target set on my Stargate are going down, but not back up. The popper mechanism pumper (sorry don't know the term for it) inside seems to be a little sticky when I manually use it to push the pop targets back up. I was going to use WD 40 on it, but stopped because I thought I would throw it out there on Pinside before I make a mistake.
    Thanks for your help!

No lube, just check the coil sleeve and coil plunger and make sure both are in good shape.

Good thing you stopped, WD isn't for and should never be used on pin mechs.
I don't know your skill level but the mech needs to be cleaned and maybe a new sleeve there are tutorials on Pinwiki on how to clean drop targets.

I am new to pin owning as of this year. I never even heard of pinwiki, but I just pulled it up and am digging in.
    On my my favorites. Thanks!
Just fixed it also with light cleaning. Thanks

No problem, glad you came here to ask before you turned them into a sticky mess.
There is always someone who will point you in the right direction and you can always use the ask Lloyd link, if he can't fix it then it's broke.
