I am going to reproduce some plastics for a restoration. So I need to know what type of plastic, are plastics made from? I have used acrylic sheet from lowes in the past for protectors, but that breaks easily and chips. Is it Lexan maybe?

I would like to purchase a sheet of the right plastic for the job.

    Thanks

I think that playfield plastics have always been made with PETG. There was some discussion about using lexan (polycarbonate) wich is unbreakable in pinball, but there's an issue with laser cutting it.
