No it isn't. Just because the popular music isn't to your taste anymore it doesn't mean there's no good music around. There's definitely more music available than, say 30 years ago, because everyone with a computer could produce music nowadays.
But regardless which kind of music you prefer, there'll still be a lot of bands around you might like. Just finding the right ones might be difficult. 
Regarding the poll - kids machine gunning both flippers are certainly annoying. But hey, they have to come of a certin age to understand what's happening in a game of pinball. Up to 7 or 8 it's just watching the ball flip around on the playfield.
