You have good taste especially the Allman Bros. My musical taste when playing is all over the place. Rock, blues, old country, funk, soul, big band and ???. I've got playlists with thousands of songs set on random play so I have no idea what is coming next. The only time the music is off is when playing the newer pins. Don't want to much of a cacophony of music and callouts.
I have a playlist called "Old School Hard Rock" that I usually play...has stuff like Van Halen, Scorpions, Riot etc...
I rarely listen to music when I play. When I do, I like bands I know but songs I don't.
If I play with songs I know I concentrate too much on the music. I like a familiar sound but still having my focus on the game.
My tunes will vary, some Doors, The Who, Rolling Stones, Hendrix...solid late 60's early 70's rock
Quoted from o-din:
When playing EMs, I mostly listen to bells and chimes.
Yup, what more do you need?
Two answers:
1. If I'm in the system 11 room, I listen to the cacophony of multiple battling system 11s -- they have their own music. Duh.
2. If I'm in the 1981 room, I listen to music from... wait -- can you guess?
Hard Rock from 1977-1981.

Live Frank Sinatra albums when I’m by myself. When people are over it’s mostly classic rock and 90’s rap. Sometimes I listen to classical music if I’m playing with headphones on. It’s helps me focus. I’ve been playing more and more with headphones, now that I have a real Bluetooth headset. I bought it for gaming but have found all kinds of uses for it. I know it’s all over the place, but certain music fit certain settings better than others.
Sometimes I like listening to Django Reinhardt while playing. I considered posting this in the Confessions thread instead!
