    Quoted from John_I:

Chili My Soul in Encino. Used to go there whenever I went to LA.

Small world. That was walking distance from my house. Didn't know that place had a national following. On the bright side, LA is finally getting Dunkin Donuts and they put one in next door to the old Chili My Soul.

I miss Stepps steakhouse in downtown LA. Best chocolate cake I ever had and very solid steaks. I sort of miss Skews as well, a bbq meat kabob restaurant downtown and in Westwood. And though it wasn't great, I do miss Koo Koo Roo from time to time.

From my days in Champaign, IL, I miss Pickles as well as Delights Ice Cream Shoppe. And I miss Buffalo Wild Wings in St. Charles.

As others mentioned, I also miss Sisters Chicken, Showbiz Pizza and Zantigo. This is a great thread. Brings back some good memories.

I also really miss Shoney's all you can eat breakfast buffet. I see online there are still some Shoney's left, but it seems like new ownership and new business model. Anyone live near a Shoney's that still has the breakfast buffet?

    Quoted from Wolfmarsh:

Ours still does, it's the one at:
    1307 North Main St
    Summerville, SC 29483
    Long trip for you though.

Hmm.... I have an Atlanta trip coming up. Maybe I can figure out a way to stop over in the Carolinas....
