Ponderosa, cafeteria style, walk in Steak place. Opened in Canada in 1971 lasted until 1984. Most locations were bought by another company and converted them to Red Lobster.
In British Columbia there were Bino's Family Restaurants, 1 in almost every city, like a Dennys but nicer.

Not a specific restaurant. Many years ago many Department Stores had a lunch counter or restaurant. In Canada The Hudsons Bay Stores had really good food. Eatons and S.S. Kresges also had counters.

Friend worked at a KFC, until one of the Pressure Boilers blew up. Luckily no one was injured. The store was closed for a week or so after that. A support post next to the boiler ended up cracked.
