The top 100 is so populated with modern and DMD machines. Which earlier games really stand out as special?

    #2 5 years ago

For me it's Cyclone, just like the carnival theme & callouts.

    #3 5 years ago

Pre-DMD? For me it’s Funhouse. Further back I’m a big fan of Flash Gordon, Quicksilver, and Jungle Princess

Oh man taxi is great. It is my second favorite though. Whirlwind is my favorite game of any era. I never tire of playing it. After years and years of owning it, I still suck at it lol.

    Earthshaker

I say BK2K or Whirlwind, but there are a tonne of pre-dmd machines I have yet to play.

Whirlwind. Only non-DMD game I’ve owned twice. Happy to hear I’m not the only one who sucks at it!

I'm in the same camp on this one,I wish a modern multiball version of this game was developed.

    #35 5 years ago

EBD, Frontier, Fathom....those are ones I own but there are more I like that I see being mentioned

    #36 5 years ago

Cyclone, Space Shuttle, Title Fight, Viking, Swords of Fury.
And Cyclone don't need no stinkin' multi-ball.

Let x = the number of (subjective measure of favorite/fun/great) pre-dmd games.
Let y = the number of (subjective measure of favorite/fun/great) dmd and post-dmd games.
    x > y
... and it’s not even close.
