Well, it's not because it's true (although it would explain a lot), but I do think of it every time I get an extra ball anywhere now.

I love this mistake (it's "egress") because whether or not it was intentional, it reminds me how cool it is that I see egrets around here all the time now, when I never used to. Cranes and herons and pelicans too.
