For all of the edge-lords out there who say System 80b games are garbage, move along. For the rest of you that find some charm in cheesy knock-off 80's themes, what do you think Gottlieb's best System 80B game is? I wish we could pick 3 games and do ranked voting, because it is rather hard for me to decide which one wins.

I feel like the 80B games can be really subjective, which is a great thing. I do not really like Tx Sector all that much, which is great because it brings crazy money. I have not played a Robo War, but from what I have seen....i'd definitely like to. Same with Hot Shots. I really like some of the ways Gottlieb used drop targets in these games. The ball save drop target between the flippers on Diamond lady and the knockdown targets they used in Arena were nice features. They also did some cool things like the synchronized drops during multiball on Hollywood Heat. I am also a sucker for some of the music tracks they used in these games.

FYI, you can demo a bunch of the more sought after 80B tables in the Pinball Arcade app for smartphones. Great way to check some of these games out you may never see in real life.

    Quoted from stevevt:

Genesis says "hold my beer and please look up 'easily' in the dictionary".

Let's not forget about Raven. I may pick up a cheap Raven some day again and do all new cabinet art and a totally custom translite. I actually like the playfield art, and the gameplay is okay for a 1 ball game.
