Line Drive
Williams, 1972While cleaning and re-assembly of the drop targets on my Williams Pitch and Bat -
I noticed a metal piece hanging down from the back of the targets behind the shield
that deflects the balls. There are no wires (that I can see) that are anywhere near this.
not sure of what the purpose is, or am I missing something? It's just stapled to the wood.

I checked all my williams pitch and bats along with extra target panels and none have that or a trace of it ever being there. A wild guess it could be a label mount that would have said ‘control panel ##’ or something like that although it would have been stapled directly to the panel and probably not shish kabobed on. Interesting
