    Quoted from Mahoyvan:

Whats the purpose over the plum bob tilt?

Plumb bob usually ends ball, slam tilt ends game(s).

Normally, on the playfield, its not a slam tilt, just a normal tilt.

A plumb Bob has a slow response. A weighted tilt like that will react to side slapping of the cabinet.

Shaker tilt switch for when you slap the side of the machine.
