I just ordered a snap in service outlet to install in my Addams, which came missing the service outlet.

Described as "service outlet snap-in three prong wpc" on the Marco site.

No North American plug will plug in to this thing. What the heck did I buy?

    Quoted from ForceFlow:

Its the correct outlet, but you'll need this too:

Thanks, fack. I didn't expect to bed an adapter. Safe bet that most ppl would just cut an extension cord and wire that in to the box instead?

    Quoted from TheLaw:

I'm guessing most people with W/B have those dongles laying around. i know i have a couple.

Wow, I've had maybe ten or so an never seen one. The outlet is always a normal plug. Maybe it's a Canada vs USA thing.

Aug. The product name has only "stern" in the title, so I assumed it fit only Stern. Where the other has "WPC" in the title, so it made sense that it fit in the WPC box.

I'll do the extension cord thing for now and order some of those next time I have a parts emergency.

    Quoted from Startek2:

i don't understand why they did that.......just about as dumb as that yellow thingee to hold the interlocks in......

Maybe there used to be a standard cord length for soldering irons or something, and it was just a few inches too short to do flipper stuff?
