I'm trying to figure out why my jet bumper won't work after shorting it by accident. The diode(LD22) stays lit just above the tip switch. I want to test components but have no idea what this 4748 thing is. Please help identify so I may test it

Pretty sure it's a zener diode.

To clarify, this thing here is a zenor diode?

I believe so, also notice it is labeled ZD21 and the one to the right of it is ZD22 (ZD- zenor diode)

Always consult the schematic or BOM for the board in question.

    Looks like 1N4748 = 22V 1W Zener diode.

If purchasing a replacement, be careful you purchase the correctly sized SMD.

I can't seem to find info on this board. It's a swemmer aftermarket driver board for a system 7. Jet bumper won't work since I shorted it while adjusting it's leaf switch. I can't seem to find where the power is coming from to keep the circuit on.

    Thank you for explaining that

Don't adjust switches with power on.

    I won't again.
