Eight Ball
Bally, 1977Can anyone identify which part I am missing? I've seen pix that make me think it's a clear post of some kind. I also saw one that showed a short red post. It goes in front of spinner. Please see photo below. I'm restoring and trying to use all of the correct/original parts. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately the German manual does not list the rubber, as the English version appears to do. I thought my manual was inside the machine, but can't find it. Thanks again!

Untitled (resized).pngConclusion: I think the correct part is a mini post 6-32 thread #02-4195 (see link below). But I think it is inadequate for something that takes a brutal beating, and it failed and wore out on the original playfield. So, I went with a 10-32 #530-5005-01. I only wish the stud was longer so I could have gone through the playfield and added a locknut to the bottom.

I pointed out the link to the correct part with the thread length that goes all the way through the playfield in my first post in your thread.
It also uses a T rubber

Lots of people replace it with the more common #6, #8, #10 posts as the OP shows, however that is a preference vs. what was originally there (T rubber was hard to get for many years so people would replace the hardened ones - I think for a long time only black was available which looks horrible)
