I've had my WCS since 2006 and it's worked flawlessly after some initial tweaks. I'm getting it ready to put up for sale and, after taking some pictures and doing a general inspection, I find a connector that is not attached to anything.

I think it's possible it simply doesn't connect to anything. I've never noticed any issues in the past 9 years. But it's also possible it should connect to something...

It's the 5-pin connector pictured below (bottom center). It has 5 pins but only 2 wires are attached. It's also the smaller pin size.

I looked all over (where that connector could reach) and didn't any any place it could possibly go.

Does anyone with a WCS94 know if this should be connected to anything?

Big thanks!

Seemed odd but I have seen odd things that are "normal" before.

Probably some feature that was removed for production.

So does mine

I actually bought Willies, if he couldnt find something for it to do, than there just aint anything for it to do. Its played flawlessly for almost a year now.

Good question for JP when he shows up at a future expo!

I've added my WCS to the for sale forum. Check it out here

It's +12v & GND - likely for a moved/changed prox sensor.

It was originally for when you got a red card and then there was a mech that popped you in the junk from under the game.

They dropped it when they decided how much of a liability it was.

Ouch. At least it wasn't 50V!

That was just for the switch, the mech was power by direct 120

Ah.. I see.. So it would plug into the DBV's 9-pin power slot there (unless you had a DBV in the game already, in which case you needed to order the 12-6627 Power splitter..)
