Alright, I'm stumped here. Think of a data east standard sized display. It normally is mounted on 5 screws that stick out from the plastic display holder, and then the static shield goes on top of that, and then the display board.

I need two of those screws. I understand that they look like upsidedown playfield posts, with a short pointed screw bottom, a built in...uh...nut is not the right word, (it's one of those things like on slingshot post hardware [but you can use a nut driver to turn it]), and then a longer screw portion that is threaded most of the way.

I'm being terrible describing it, but I need the part number and where to get a couple, as they have helpfully broken off on one of our games. Thanks to anyone who can figure out what I'm talking about and tell me where to find it!

I do now that my boss got some batteries! The first one is a picture of the post installed, the second is of the missing posts. The part that you can't see is a short pointed screw.

Hmm, I'll have to try it that way winter. The current posts are glued in - otherwise I'd unscrew one and take a picture of it. Also, I didn't realize Stern was willing to support DE stuff. Cool.

Hey, it worked really well! Thanks Winteriscoming. I'd still love to know the actual part/part number, but that was an excellent substitute.

Edit: It does have to be a wood screw, though. Unless the removal of the previously installed ones ripped up the threading on mine. When they ripped out the display board.
