I've got a few of these and can't ID. 29" wide, and does not fit Gottlieb Circus, Bally Paragon, Stern Orbitor, Atari Airborne. One was on eBay but they did not state what game it was for. Games like Black Hole are shorter. It's got pegs 2" from the ends, and hooks at 6"-7" from the ends, no split in the middle and no markings.

Maybe classic Williams, such as for Stellar Wars, Scorpion, Algar, etc?

Can you get a side on picture of the pegs?

The widebody williams I've seen have sharp corners from the way the sheet metal was bent in construction, but they may have had multiple styles

I should have listed that too, no, it does not fit Williams games such as Stellar Wars

    Yeah, show the pegs/fins better.

    Maybe Genie? Gottlieb system 1?

Pretty sure Genie used Shark Fins just like any other Gottlieb late model EM or System 1 - 3.

I was pretty sure that Atari used pegs. Here is an old thread that shows photos. It has pegs, but no fins (yours looks like the fins are for alignment only). The last post says the one pictured did not fit so there must be two styles for Atari (besides Hercules!).

Few pics of the strange "fins", more like hooks

Anyone have a Genie or Roller Disco they could check?

My guess is that it's not for a pinball machine. 70's Pitch and bat or some other simulation type game.

Anyone own a widebody machine made by "Hankin" of Australia?

    Williams head to head game.

That is an ATARI lockdown bar

I agree, looks like the lockdown bar for a Superman I once owned.

Interesting that the last Superman I had did not have this style of lockdown bar that I recall anyway.

I have seen two different styles for Atari lockdown bars. Superman seems to have both versions during it's build at the factory. I don't know what serial number the change happened though.
