I know this was posted before 8 years ago since then the new pinball machines seem faster.
What's your top 5?
Which pins should I include in the poll?
#1 The Getaway high speed 2 because ball flys so fast around the orbits if missed the ball hits metal drain so hard it bounces back out into play. ball even bounces up hits the glass during gameplay it is that fast. Forgot to mention the super charger with 3 electromagnetic coils that pushes all 3 balls at high speeds, if sc ramp lubed it's scary fast and the balls actually shake the machine whipping around the metal loop!
#2 F14 even the pros have the hard time keeping up with the speed, it's very frustrating and unforgiving pin. Ball kicks back at the flippers so fast it's hard to react.
#3 black knight premium, Steve Ritchie loves designing pins that go fast which I love. Upper playfield orbit is wicked fast and battling the black knight kick back shield and kickback swinging weapon mace makes gameplay unforgiving. When that ball hits either shield or mace it flys back so fast even the pros drain the ball, no time to react.

Interesting that more people have HS2 than ST up - my ST plays insanely fast right now and my buddy's HS2 is a lot slower by comparison. I guess it comes down to set up / how recently it was cleaned, etc.

Speed is nice gimmick. Wish I had the reflexes!

From memory I know F-14, Stern SW, GOT pro, IM are all super fast and fun. Of the games I own, LZ is go go go with very few pauses. But the missed shot rejects on my Stranger Things with wide open outlanes make me feel like a 51 yr old hockey goalie on an NHL 5 on 3 power play. The biffed shot to into the trough time is hilarious! As far as older games, Flash Gordon has always been a super fast plunge, boom-beep-flip-boop-drain-repeat game for me but that game where it comes together....boing!
