I feel like Johnny Mnemonic is a strange example of flow. Usually in pinball when you’re hitting shots, you feel in control but on JM hitting an orbit or two gives you so much speed that you have to start blasting away at ramps to try to slow the ball down a bit. When you’re comboing shots, the flow is great. However the mode starts and ball locks do take some of that flow away as you’re waiting for the glove. The return from the pops is a little awkward too. So I think it’s a game with good flow sometimes but I don’t think it’s a flow game if that makes sense.
