I’m considering this pitch and bat for a long term project. Before I jump in I need to do research on part availability. It’s missing the backglass. In order to get started I need to know the name of the game. The seller doesn’t know. It was made by Midway. Can anyone identify this game?

Ooh... cut harnesses. I don't envy you that task!

What is the source for parts on a Midway machine? Does anyone make a backglass? Are pitch and bats worth restoring? Sorry for the questions. I’m new to these.

The electrical doesn’t bother me. I’m mostly concerned for parts and a new backglass.

That's not one you see often. Some pitch and bat backglasses were remade, but I don't recall ever seeing that one. I guess it's worth it if you get the game for free or very little, but the backglass might be tough, especially without anything to work from.

Damn. That ticking counter would drive me nuts! What's it's purpose anyway?

I checked and Bgresto and coos pinball don’t have the artwork.

You can email Mayfair Amusements to see if they have a nos copy.

You can try posting in the Woodrail Pinball Facebook group as they include em games.

I found one on eBay. While I will enjoy the project I wonder if these are any fun. What do you think?

There is a reason they did not make many after 1970

Pitch and bat games are cool, and some are better than others, but I think any of them would get boring pretty quickly if you had nothing else to play. If you have room for one in your gameroom, it might be a fun change of pace from pinball.
