    Quoted from PopBumperPete:

Are we including the cost of car repairs happening during the drive to pick up the game?

I do not think car repairs or Casino stops are allowed. At least that is what I learned at the irs.gov site I deducted them from my post...please do the same or hire www.wewilldefendyouinanirsaudit.com....lol

    Quoted from zippydapinhead:

Caught a wayward balloon from Kansas that left a nice hole in my wallet. Max paid so far, but first NIB and an LE at that, so what the hell.

OP asked a definitive question....you did not list the price, you paid, in your response. I know most probably already know what the price is and you knew that when replying I am one of the ones that does not know though Sooooo How much did you shell out for the OZ? My wife wants one but only if we can figure out a way to get a casino Wiz of Oz video slot machine too!!! She has this vision for our game room that is wiz pinball...and wiz video slot side by side!!!

I paid a little bit more for mine, the only thing is that it's still in the box.
    QSS

    Well...I still have the box.

I paid a little less, I also bought one of the new Hyperballs so I got a package deal for buying two.

3K for a TSPP. Looks cheap compared to today's prices and that was only a year or so ago.

    #61 11 years ago

Not counting BHZA since it's not paid for yet, mine would be 6,000 for a nice AFM.

    #62 11 years ago

    7200 euro (8800 $) for my BIBLE

    #63 11 years ago

4500 euro ($5500) for my Cactus Canyon

Over $10k for the HUO CC I owned before letting her go to another pinsider

    #65 11 years ago

$1200 seems to be my top amount all my dmd games were right about there. 200-600 for my older ss games all within the last 2yrs.

Not to nit pick a few bucks, I saw your post which falls into the $5000-$9999 category, I was just noting no one had posted in the 10k-14,999 category yet.

john, you paid that much for your 'rocky'?

    #69 11 years ago

$7000 for my NIB LOTR LE. Got to that party a bit late to get a good price - bought it just over a month ago.

    #70 11 years ago

BHZA will be by far my most expensive pin. I doubt I could justify ever spending that much on a single pin again.

    #71 11 years ago

Just under $5000 for my REALLY nice Tron Pro. Next would be my Iron Man

What is the most you ever paid for a pinball machine?
I will start by saying for me it was $3k for a TAF ten years ago.(At the time I could have bought a MM for $4k.)

$2,000 for a really nice RBION.

    #73 11 years ago
    Quoted from j_m_:

john, you paid that much for your 'rocky'?

O'gosh no......Rocky was one of the most cheapest games I ever added to the collection because back then nobody wanted it. $400 at Cunninghams auction, I would have paid three times that back then for it.......and still would today....LOL.

    Quoted from Pinballdad:

When I hit the Mega Millions none of this cost stuff will really matter. I plan on hiring people to worry about stuff like this for me...I think they are called, "Personal Assistants" or something like that...yeah...I need get me one of those...the sooner the better!

When this happens, call me. My job #1 is as a Resource Management Analyst for a huge insurance company, which basically means I'm a babysitter for 3 managers, personal assistant for 7 supervisors, and gopher for a tri-regional staff of over 250. I've also got a bachelors degree, 2 national administrative assistant certifications, and a knowledge of pinball. I'll gladly quit for a high-paying job where I can study pinball all day. (Oh wait, that's kinda what I do now... just not in my job title. lol)

$4000 for first MM. $5000 for second MM. $6500 for third MM + 5500 for mods and ground up restoration to perfection!

    #96 11 years ago

I guess WOZ for $6.5k--i paid for it although it's not here yet. Or, $5100 shipped for NIB LOTR LE (plus $160 for shaker). Cheapest was $75 for a Ro Go that I traded straight up for my Gold Strike. Cheapest NIB was CV at $2100 (or $0 for LW:JP that I won).

    #97 11 years ago

Wow! The picture # 5 is my favorite. Look at that shine near the flippers and the words, "Sudden" and also "Death"!

    Very nice pin!

    #98 11 years ago

WOZ the most in actual price paid in $US, but back in the early 2000's, I bought my MM and CC for around $4800 US, but at the time the $CDN was way down, so my actual cost to me was close to $7K each Amazing how things have changed, on my first few WOZ payments I was getting a premium on my $CDN!!

This thread nicely compliments the "what is the least that you have ever paid thread."
    Consider this a bump.
